I still can't really understand people thinking that the album is gonna drop right after the Super Bowl. Rihanna literally said, "Super Bowl is one thing. New music is another thing." She even moaned that fans would think new music is coming with the Super Bowl. The idea that she's going to link the two so closely seems to go against what she said. 

 

I think she could drop a single with an album later in the year but I just can't see her having the album ready to go right now. 

 

Of course I hope I'm wrong, and if I am wrong, it means the whole thing has been planned in such detail.

An apple exclusive is a really stupid idea. Will be a mess. So I believe this is real. She loves disastrous first weeks.

That can also mean that she is doing the SuperBowl for the shake of celebrating her hits and not focusing on performing songs from a new era until that is done.

 

Also tbh... not taking the advantage of such a huge exposure is lowkey dumb...

 

Having a apple music exclusive album is a bad idea WHY EXACTLY?

 

Look at all of the promo that they have been doing for her, without her lifting a finger, and her albums are rising from it...

 

She is known to do the things her way... and they have always paid off...

 

Look at ANTI... people were all over the place coz of the first week rollout... the 460 copies... the 1.5M albums given away for free....

 

But the truth is.... she did what she wanted, she went #1 after the first week rollout got away and she got the coins from Samsung as if the albums were sold 'traditionally' and the album's quality made it be the classic it is right now... charting still after 7 years and probably will end up being her best selling album in the US

I don't think we're getting new music right after the SB either but she is known for lying so who knows.
