I did something in that vein 9 years ago, I could definitely see it as an opener, although it'd take almost a minute until the first chorus

And the show didn’t drag lol The DSTM/Only Girl/We Found Love mash up in the the first 45 seconds of her VMA performance was everything. 

 

She doesn’t need to perform just 8 songs in full and call it a night.
 

That’ll get boring and they already stated they wanted to celebrate her huge catalogue so I expect a lot of small transitions.

Umbrella - We Found Love - Diamonds

As the main songs. And for sure. 2min per song 6 min

 

A Caribbean mix with WMN, Ride boy, work, pon de replay (some seconds and maybe one more extended) 2min

 

A dance mix with DSTM, S&M, OG, Disturbia, WHYB(Some seconds with a dancebreak and one more extended) 3min

 

Badgal mix with BBHMM, PIT, another rap megahit collaboration. (2min)

 

13min of show

 

Maybe she want to add Stay, LOTB or now, LMU to the start of Diamonds. 15min show. 

 

 

I love LMU but this will have her moment at the Oscar performance. And is what the song deserved to bright a full performance. If she play this song at the SB this will be a interlude to another ballad.

When will the SB commercial air? Soon or very close to the event?

It would be kind of incredible if a commercial for the Documentary aired after her performance along with a teaser for new music...like a cryptic video countdown. One can only hope she has some special surprises in store for us. So confirmed we have Apple Doc, Amazon Doc and SB performance locked in. Pretty good year for us even if no new music arrives.

Ok I'm not opposed to the idea of some of her ''lesser'' hits like WHYB, Disturbia etc being included. My only hope was no ballads, but after those tweets posted a few page back from Adam Blackstone its safe to say were gonna have a few(?).

The comments about Hip Hop are interesting though, I can't really see any of her solo ones being included though? (PIU, Needed Me or BBHMM)

Yeah I get that and I agree, but the Superbowl feels like more of a celebration to me.

 

I don't really feel LOTB or Stay would suit the Superbowl either and I feel like we already have so many amazing performances of those songs, so it's not like she would be bringing anything really new to table. At least with Diamonds or Umbrella I'm sure they will switch it up in a new way that we're all not entirely expecting, but with LOTB and Stay, I personally don't see how those songs could be performed much different vs what we already have. 

I can only see one ballad being on the setlist.

SB suppose to be high energy hits and bangers. Theres a reason why Adele never headlined.
