as rih said, it's all about the hits/classics, so no new music, and considering lmu is a new song and a soundtrack single,

i don't think she will even think about performing it at the superbowl

stay is the right/obvious choice for a ballad.

Rihanna-wise, I take Diamonds (even Take A Bow) before she performs LMU or Stay at the SB. 

She can do Diamonds, Stay, LOTB, Unfaithful, CKB or even LTWYL2 as ballads BEFORE LMU 

Her SB commercial is gonna have me crying I fear  

diamonds and lotb are two of her best low-tempos and they wont drop the energy much as the rest will do. and her vocals shine in both. she should do them its a no brainer.

 

(although im fine with a full uptempo setlist as well)

I just looked at the timings: She Wolf lasted 38 seconds, Empire lasted 44, Ojos Asi lasted 40... Shakira's longest song was Hips don't Lie with not even a minute and a half. Honestly, I hope she does NOT do that.
