Why would she bank on the VMAs when she had to beg for a slot last time? It's probably going to be even more competitive this year.  Maybe Lydia can work some magic but I really don't see much difference between Bet and VMAs at this point. Nobody is watching these awards shows anymore, the important thing is to get a performance in.

Multiple people saw the commercial on tv today though. Why would they even add her to the commercials JUST TO REMOVE HER from the lineup? That would imply Normani/her team pulled her.  

Anyone who has stanned Normani for more than a month knows the first rule of Normani stanning is not to believe a performance is coming until you're watching that performance with your own eyes

Ehh I don't consider anyone on twitter reliable in any way . I'm going to wait and see. Teyana Taylor still hasn't been officially announced and she was in that commercial saying she was performing. I think they could just want the Usher tribute moment to be a surprise though I am so over secrecy with Normani. Can we just please have something normal?

Yeah I has to dig into twitter then I was understood what you said fully. 

 

BET tweeted seemingly approving of a Nation member who said they were excited to see Normani tonight…then deleted it. So yeah, @shelven is right. Until we see a performance, there is none.

 

I may just watch BET awards anyways because Tyla, Coco, and Victoria are performing. That'll eat a bit but I wished Normani was there performing in some capacity. We gotta promote the era by performances. I think performances and moments (even if it's a high profile tribute) are going to create momentum. 

when the show starts they usually announce the performers. so we might know then.

Yep or if she comes on the carpet so we won't have to wait all night to find out either (unless it's a BIG surprise for some reason like a moment with a legend or gunna is the surprise performer and she's coming out in his set).
