Fair sounds like a very basic teen type of song next to Insomnia, Someone Else and the other more R&B oriented leaks. However I think Insomnia was maybe already lost by the time she had to release something, idk. There's really no logical reason to release Fair instead of almost anything else that leaked besides being scrapped/passed on to other artists. 

yeah, i would've preferred "insomnia" after wild side and it was way more mature and that ~personal~ shtick she was going for, she definitely would've got better reviews with insomnia i think. and i think it would've done fairly well. idk who thought fair was the best to follow up with at all lol.

The stans should try and get a trend going on tik tok for candy paint. RCA will be interested in actually releasing it if it's viral.

For some reason, Twitter stans don't think it's necessary to create hashtags or movements to get Normani talked about or even viral in any type of way. It's funny actually when you try suggesting stuff like this to them, they'll come for you and tear you down lol 

Surprised Keep Cool/RCA have not dropped her yet, or forced an album out.

It would be funny if somebody could make a fake album with the leaks go viral.

Oh I didn't know they think like that. Well I guess they're fine with no music then. I mean it's not their job to do it or anything but instead of sitting on twitter fighting or dragging Normani into some drama that doesn't involve her, it would probably be better to come up with something that could get a song released.

i think it’s very evident that nothing the fans do or say will get the ball rolling they’d rather not waste their time

Exactly this. I think the issue is they’re scared doing anything will just push her music back even more, especially after how quickly her team took down candy paint last March.

 

I was still listening to SZA’s demos right before her album dropped and some of them made the SOS album. I do wish they’d try and let things build on TikTok and post snippets from HER stories or something. Let her have an I Hate U moment idk

Yep! She made is very clear she was pissed off when the original CP audio from that party leaked, so why are the fans gonna spread it? Sza knew all publicity is good publicity and ran with it and now look at her career

Even if she's able to get a release date for Candy Paint it will truly be worthless if there isn't an album date along with it. Nothing else will get her numbers. They can't even set her up with features to keep the now 2 remaining fans left engaged. Truly wishing her the best because now the situation is worse than ever. I'm 100% hopeless.

We should just spam tiktok with all the unreleased songs. Something will stick.

 

And yeah Normani being shelved is possible. I mean, if we’re still in this completely silent phase in May, her career might be done. 

 

She finished the movie already. The next priority should have been dropping music, getting non-single features on other people’s albums, photoshoots, brand deals, dropping snippets of what IS on the album, and warming the era up. 

 

Is Normani really about to skip out on the BBMAs, BET Awards, and Summer festivals AGAIN? Like what are they holding up for at this point.
