Artur Posted October 13 Posted October 13 I feel like this time, she will release the lead with more promo other than just the video. 1

Miracle Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Postponing would literally be one of Gaga's worst decisions in her lifetime. Especially because October is the only month until FEBRUARY or at least late January where she can comfortably release - Elections on Nov.6th > no one will be speaking about the lead in her main market aka the USA - Weeks after Nov 6th > a week after the elections will still be front and center, the rest of the year is CHRISTMAS FROZEN - Early January could be a possibility...but again, the inauguration will take the spotlight A late January single would mean a complete change in strategy. I highly doubt they will postpone and change 4 months of promo that's probably planned because of that Todd Philipps disaster 1 3
Smarticle Posted October 13 Posted October 13 I know the wait is way too long now but she should've release January this year or next year like Ariana did after the post-Xmas freeze to snatch the #1s 1

(As the biggest Cardi fan, let me just say that Gaga doesn't need to worry.) yeah but charts are calming down after its chaotic run earlier this year is a great chance to make "Notorious Being" () a #1 debuting hit. cardi is a wild card tbh. nobody was expecting WAP's slayage after her flop collabs. also atlantic probably will give all the promo to CB2's lead (if they still have some money to effort that) especially after their lowkey bankruptcy. they wouldn't want to lose her too 1

But she needs to do some work to rebuild her momentum after her last few solo releases ended up not sustaining themselves… But anyway. Back to Gaga.

Miracle Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Y'all are giving February / March when y'all acted like Gaga couldn't release any week because there was competition (some people included Kacey Musgraves, Selena and Shakira as competition) She released DWAS the same week as a Post Malone yeehaw album with a #1 song and DWAS became bigger than anything released by Post Malone in like 6 years. Since Gaga isn't gunning for a #1 single, the only competitions for what we rationally think our highest spot can be (#5) would be rep TV

hausofbryan Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Whether this Friday or next, unless there's a huge surprise album release, Gaga picked a great time for her single anyway given the lack of new stuff lately and weakening charts. DWAS is also peaking on streaming so it's the perfect time to move into the next one, even if radio is slow. The reality is that radio won't meaningfully pick it up until after the holidays at this point anyway, so DWAS can do its thing there for the rest of the year. 1

But yeah I will take any crumb tomorrow doesn't need to be announcement. I would actually prefer if we got some teasing billboards first (not announcement billboard), but something like HQ or Flowers. They could have some lyrics and be vague to get us hyped 1

Iaintsorry Posted October 13 Posted October 13 1 hour ago, Badgalbriel said: They better not. She can't afford disappointing her fans this many times, specially after releasing her 3rd Jazz album (featuring Good Morning) in the last 10 years, while only serving 1 and a half pop albums in the same period of time. It actually might not be a bad thing in the long run if she does end up having to push the release date by a week or two (maybe even more). Yes it'll get backlash from fans, but also it would suck for DWAS's performance to hinder LG7 lead. It's very likely it'll be very sonically different, and the lead deserves to have all the space it can get to shine. This is her pop comeback afterall
