I just checked, the first one was filmed in 3 months so probably it's also the director that likes doing things properly with taking the right time (contrary to Scott), which is for the best.

Not that it’s important in any way but an average movie shooting is up to 3 months so JFAD’s shooting time frame is not that big. 4-5 months with holidays in between would still be kinda regular. Anything above 6 months would make me think that it’s really complicated or includes a lot of effects etc. Having said that, I’m sure the musical numbers will take most of the time.

I love to see if FJAD was jazz, what she could come up with. There lots of folk influences in ASIB, but it’s ‘folk’ per se.…  and with the platform of Joker there’s a way to bring something innovative  whilst channeling her jazz background.

 

The base girls when it’s jazz and the most ‘pop’ song sounds like Just Another Day:

Not necessarily. Four months is longer than usual for R-rated thrillers/crime dramas. 

 

 

 

Even if you take into account Christmas break, which would probably be 7-10 days max, that still leaves us with ~120 days which is more than enough for a movie like this including reshoots so 

 

Anyway, all of this is inconsequential. It's just nice to have some dates finally. The way she dipped after wrapping the tour and it's been crickets since.
