Nah she needs to take advantage of her American Idol clout and release at least the lead single during the final weeks of this season so she could do a live performance there, honestly shows like that are more effective in boosting sales/recognition than award shows, and I doubt she’d be able to book many award shows this time around anyway.?

 

I haven’t seen Idol in ages idk if they do ‘themed nights’ from time to time like som other shows do , but if they do I’d be nice to have a “Katy Perry” themed night where contestants sing her most known songs (maybe some deep cuts/hidden fan faves as well) and she could debut her lead that night & perform it.

Apparently, this guy receives insider info from time to time and tweeted this way back in September. Idk if this is where the rumors came from tho. Probably not since this person is not very known and they don't cosplay as an insider for clout.

 

 

They also said Katy should be announcing something in the next couple of weeks, so we'll see!

 

 

Katy Perry Today has also been teasing a February release, and they knew about WIG months in advance.

It’s like y’all forget the Daisies’ rollout, it was released for AI finale and still flopped. It’s not 2010, nobody watches TV. It’s time to release something good and pay for payola on Spotify.

This. I think it’s important to remember that up until this point her team has shown to be totally incompetent ever since the streaming era took over . We need a TTH residency, put her on that next auto-play Spotify payola, and pay some TikTokers to make videos with the song

Daisies honestly had a decent promo, it did debut at #40 and stayed a few weeks on charts. It had some TTH and the AI performance helped it rise on iTunes which boosted its first week a bit. They messed up by not sending it instantly to pop radio though. 

Is 02/02 really confirmed?

Imagine if the song is called White horse and hits one on hot 100 exactly 10 years later than Dark horse did?
