I would still release love is embarassing and so American, but both represents more risk, they have low peak and it's not guaranteed that radio would embrace. Also Pretty isn't pretty is reaching 100 millions now, but I imagine that that song could pull a Ghost by Bieber and Smashing. My point is , non singles is doing well, just transform some of them in single and the album will be stable and accumulated streams will be enormous. Just imagine if the other four track of sour that reached multi Platinum in us: Happier , favorite crime, Jealousy and brutal were single? It would be just the second álbum this decade with 8 multiplatinum singles with Teenage dream (Despite sour is already the second with the most tracks 8x multiplatinum)
