FN lead single is definitely not coming until September / October. I think we can put the May theories to bed now. She’ll use the entire summer to promote the Barbie songs.

I mean you have to keep in mind that Dua just doesn’t move as fast as some of the other pop girls. We know from DL1 and FN that she likes to write and record up to 100+ songs and select the best out of those. That takes time and she might have changed the sound and concept over time as well. FN in 2018-2019 for example looked completely different from what we got.

 

I agree that it’s too long of a gap but if the end result is as good as FN then it’s gonna be worth it imo, especially if she extends the era a lot like FN.

Fair enough. If she serves half the quality of FN, the wait will be worth it. We'll be streaming whenever she drops.

I think the gap is ok for a massive era like FN. Constant releases is one of the main reasons why some Rihanna and Ariana albums feel so forgettable despite being massive at the time.

And honestly I feel she might have an Ariana sweetener/TUN type future in the moment. She has really not moved into that personal type of territority yet
