2021 was good, we got a Grammy performance, another #1 song (history making), she hosted the AMAs, and we got Wild Side (her best R&B feature to date) 

 

I think She will release her own single this late summer/fall/winter...I just doubt she'd release the album this year.

 

I remember on a live she said she planned to release her album and then go on tour a few weeks after. Now I thought that meant Q1 2023 but it's possible it's the gameplan for Q1 2024. 

 

I doubt she'd keep putting out features. I think she put out features this summer for a few reasons.

 

You know Cardi never releases during a low competitive point. She just always seems to release her stuff when the comp is up. That's not a bad thing but noticeable.

Releasing an album or big single this year in a lull weak year could have worked for her. as it sometimes works for others but it doesn't seem as though she's going to take advantage of this weak year.
