Still has 84,662 of the standard vinyl available.  :rip:

Welp. I just want a CD with all the tracks on it. Is that too much to ask?

Y'all there's a reason why she has ppl sign NDA's at her various parties and events. She's not a square as y'all think she is.

I mean…we all have listened to Renaissance right? :sistrens:

The only thing that shocks me is when she drinks while touring. Her voice stays so consistent but alcohol is so detrimental to the health of the vocal folds. It blows my mind how she's been so consistent through the years.

Even in albums prior, there's no way there were no substances used when creating songs like No Angel or even Kitty Kat

Someone did a deep dive on REN and CC lyrics and the consistent themes of her battling something and potentially coping with drugs and alcohol a little more. It's especially prevalent on tracks with the Dream and I imagine out of all her collaborators they create in person together/sharing her personal struggles etc.

I don't like to get too deep into it but it's like…wtf was she talking about on a song like Flamenco?

RWT and FWT are objectively superior tours, but there's something about Bey's showmanship throughout The Beyonce Experience that will always make it one of my favorites. I almost prefer the stripped stage production, but that could also just be nostalgia at play.

This. The Beyonce Experience is her best tour. Great combo of vocals and choreography and she just raw dog energy to her. To me that was peak Beyonce.

TEA!!! my personal fave.

I know @Joaco95 will agree to this being top 2 or even his Fave.

actually yes.

as much i would love sweet dreams to be the opener and as much as I love deja vu, she made the right decision with cil. It was a lot of trial and error but she got it right just in time, too bad she butchered the tour with that weak ass edit, evem she edited out the foot steps sound effect from the intro just to make it shorter, i hate her.

Today's Topic:

Which Tour has the BEST Opening/Intro and Why?

Criteria: Visuals, Production, Sound Effects, Lighting, Opening Song and Overall Entertainment.

Gif of the Day:

You already know RWT

It's the most cinematic, breathtaking, and artistic opening she's ever done. Then paring it with "Loop The Sample"? The entrance into her robogina? The futuristic production?

Obviously FWT is top tier and it's hard to place second but facts are facts and art is art I fear :supaspaz:

btw this is my fave cil video on the internet, the way the gay behind the camera is hyping her :jonny:

1:20 "Look at the oufits!"

1:54 "oh yes yes!"
2:00 "so gay!"

2:05 "shake it! Shake it! Shake it!"

People saying The Beyonce Experience is her best tour.

Crazy in Love during I Am.. Tour is her best opener.

Her best opener is DIL during Renaissance imo.

The vocals alone make it such an experience.

Formation during Formation is a runner up.

Right. I haven't bought anything from this album because I hate incomplete albums and I like YA YA too much (plus I think the rollout was a disgrace). If there are even a few thousand people like me in the same boat then :rip: no wonder they aren't being touched

I wonder if Beyoncé got the ick the first time Jay said "Unicorn is the uniform you put on" :jonny2:

I can tell she was kind of vocally fatigued during DIL at one of my shows, no wonder she doesn't do more than 50 dates anymore if she has to sing for 3 hrs. :emofish:

Rennie was my fav tour because it felt like a celebration, but FWT was technically better.

I still can't believe a professional at the top of the game for 25 years had such a bad rollout. When all is said and done, I may regret not buying the standard vinyl because my Beyince copy won't match the other two but with the way things are going they'll still be available when act iii comes out. :rip:

If she redeems herself with the final rollout I'll bite the bullet but if act iii comes and goes the same way I'm good

this remix of 'Countdown' is still giving me my eternal life. :jonny5: I wish Mother never messed her knees up during the IAWT. Imagine her actually vouging on the RWT.

'Countdown' is also one of her most underrated tracks. That opening scale needs to be inducted into the Natural Museum of History.

There's only one other co-writer and if you listen to her work it's lyrically quite similar so she probably wrote most if not all of it.

That said, she worked on this during the pandemic. I think the song is about coming to terms with your mortality and you could even interpret it as a song about how she's slowing her career down to enjoy her loved ones while she and they are still around.

I personally don't think it has anything to do with her struggling with drugs or alcohol. You never know, but I don't see it.

The way she sang live the entire rennie show :jonny: i'm pretty sure its her tour with the most live vocals

pretty much this. :clap3:

I also want to believe (as weird as it sounds, yes) during the pandemic she made an effort to be more in touch with her family and really connect with them. I could be wrong but I also think she was finally starting to process the loss of her Uncle Johnny, and the RENAISSANCE album really brought it to the forefront.
