Burn Posted March 12 Posted March 12 (edited) I really hope 16 Carriages isn't track 16. It's so obvious and cheesy when artists do that. Some examples off the top of my head. Taylor Swift 1. the 1 7. seven Bruno Mars 7. 777 The Beatles 8. Eight Days A Week Ariana Grande 6. six thirty Mariah 8. 8th Grade Edited March 12 by Burn 1

SashaDevachelli Posted March 12 Posted March 12 I’m just so curious how visuals will be handled… are we going to get them in one giant film that ties all the albums together? Separate videos that randomly drop? Or is it delusional to think we’re getting any cause they’re scrapped? Why is Jlo over? Far too many questions, not enough answers 3

Some of yall are just way too deep inside her rectum that anyone who doesn’t agree with everything gets labeled as negative. There are thousands of people who have said they dislike the title. We are entitled to our opinions too and it’s not an insult to Bey or her artistry. Every time she does something that reminds us of Jay, people have this same reaction. During one of my screenings of the Renaissance film, when she said to JayZ “after all the **** we’ve been through” my entire movie theater boo’ed. She’s made it clear since 2002 she’s never leaving him. It’s been 22 years of yall being upset about her choice to stay with jay z. Just let her go if you are that upset . The crazy thing is Jay has played a HUGE role in her career (good and bad) 1

She even had an interlude about their exclusivity. Meanwhile JayZ was fornicating with every New Yorker that had a pulse. - The Carters album has yet to scan Gold, even though it’s a great album she is Beyoncé. She is more than Jay’s wife. Bow Down on the tour setlist confirmed! 1

They're putting it in quotes as if it were the title though. I wonder if that's what the title of the album was and it changed but the press release might still have the original title.

Even though Lemonade was about Jay, people reference it without thinking of him and are able to see the bigger picture. The Carter name in the title cheapens the album. Having names in album titles is always a risk, it’s not just about Bey. 2 2 2

Even if she eventually divorces Jay at some point, she'll still always be associated with the name considering she has 3 children that are Carters. 1
kimberly Posted March 12 Posted March 12 please, that's like saying Michelle Obama should release her books under the name Michelle LaVaughn Robinson yes being married to Jay doesn't define her. she's still Mrs. Carter and at this point, she ain't getting a divorce ever. I don't see any problem with using his name here, especially when it doubles as a historic reference to an actual Cowboy Carter who ran a southern media outlet. some of you just complain to complain. go on, do it more, but you're not gonna convince anyone the name "Carter" is cheap. 2
MrPiggyMoka Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Take my money Bey And you guys were complaining like crazy, I knew she wouldn’t disappoint

I get where you’re coming from to an extent but it would be a gag if this album is overall more successful than Renaissance regardless of its name. It would kinda nullify your whole argument.
Starshine Posted March 12 Posted March 12 at least the hive can spell it. do y'all know how many years we had to deal with Rennasaince? 4

She became famous because she is the wife of a president. That is her whole brand. Beyoncé not only exists outside of her husband, she also is a bigger entity. A better comparison would be Barack releasing a book under Barack LaVaughn Robinson. 1
