Jay is such an intelligent man, truly a businessman. I cringed at the Bey shoutout but whatever. 
 

On one hand I feel like people will just take this as them being arrogant yada yada but I mean, they’ve had to play politics and remain “humble” their whole careers, I think it’s valid to be like “we are the culture and we are great” so I get that point of view. 
 

Also, Blue is sooooo pretty a literal disney princess, and Act 2 is country and the haters can SEETHE RODEO is coming, put on your boots ladies

Jay's speech was really embarrassing (for Bey and Blue too), but I'm kinda glad that they've been criticized live

I'm mixed on the Jay thing, but that's his wife. I hate she's going to get caught in the crossfire during the inevitable discourse around it

Now i see why Mariah said 'Is this a real Grammy?' last Friday. They gave her and Lenny the glass versions that look like church/wedding souvenirs lmao. Jay's is the real deal and is the same exact design Dr Dre got last year

They should have given Mariah and Kenny a real one. Make it Platinum with a white base or something

Tbh, I’m glad he did that lmao. No other legend has ever really been brave enough to do that ON the Grammy’s stage other than Adele when she won AOTY over Lemonade. I think they deserved it. Regardless if she gets caught in the crossfire, the word is out. And happy Jay-Z finally spoke what a lot of us have been thinking.
