I wonder how the white men on her crew feel that were shown in the not believing in black women segment. The audience lost it when someone told her some type of equipment didn't exist and she was like "uh... I just found the equipment online it does exist"

i think it makes sense that a live album *might* come when/if she releases it on streaming. we could think of this weekend as the coachella livestream perhaps?

My House is obviously another Before I Let Go/Black Parade situation. She’ll add it at the end of whatever accompanying live album will be dropping. She is not missing a chance to further milk this damn tour especially if visuals are indeed never dropping.

The song is so unhinged. Like the delivery was fire, but sis sounded livid and ready to fight throughout most of the track just to go on about spreading love at the end. :rip:

she’s such a troll lmao how you make a whole tour and album centered around love, happiness, liberation and then angrily scream at people to get the **** out of your house :ahh:

MY HOUSE is only has TWO WRITERS AND PRODUCERS. BEYONCÉ AND THE DREAM EVERYBODY GET UP!! :jonnycat: Sample drags are over!

p.s. remember when the dream said BMS had a deeper meaning. I’m assuming she touched on this in the film but just didn’t bring it up during BMS the song. But I also remember he or some other producer said “suck on my balls PAUSE” during Sorry meant something deeper and they can’t wait to see it revealed lol

My House is excellent. I love the fact that she doesn't give a f*ck anymore about anything else but the music. There's nothing else for her to prove anymore, she's just having fun and experimenting with different sounds and on top of that, the result is that she's delivering top-notch quality. :jonny6:

Wow ok I just got out of the movie: so much to discuss!

this is by far her best documentary. She gives us just enough of everything. Homecoming didn’t have enough bts, life is but a dream had not enough revel, this is like, the culmination of all of her concert films. The editing, the pacing, it all keeps you engaged. It was chilling finally hearing the studio mixes of these live arrangements. They’re incredible. Especially Cozy and Alien. The power outage part was so sickening.

my one major takeaway is how intentional everything in this movie is. While a lot of people had the misconception that this film was put together during the last few stops, every documentary segment tells a story that then ties back into the show. It’s very good storytelling and shows she set out to make this doc from the beginning of the tour. Which is pleasing to hear after not getting a tour film since OTR. We see her eating junk food and mothering her kids while telling her team she’s f*cking Beyoncé so why can’t you get the right camera lift if it exists. It’s amazing.

now getting into spoilery territory—

Spoiler

her knee! :( very interesting and transparent look into that injury and how it’s changed her career.

I’m pretty sure there was a sticky note that said “THERE WILL BE NO FILM, THE VISUAL IS IN MY HEAD.” and that….is troubling to me, especially because we see her recording the album in this but nothing about the videos other than that single shot.

interludes are cut for time but integrated somewhat well. Loop the Sample bangs in the cinema. Based on how the film was edited though the live album will probably include them in their entirety.

sad she didn’t utilize as many costume changes as I imagined. Silver loweve was paid dust. Nothing for the energy runway. Barely any for the OG I’m that girl fit. Mugler bee only. I’m not mad tho cause she used all the costumes from my shows. Just interesting!

um :biblio:

"I’m pretty sure there was a sticky note that said “THERE WILL BE NO FILM, THE VISUAL IS IN MY HEAD.”

i mean she most likely ignores the visuals in the film for a more dramatic / surprise element but yeah they are SO scrapped, er should all hang it up :rip:

This moment looks and sounds so planned/rehearsed for the film, NGL. They throw in these nuggets for the audience because if it's a matter-of-fact documentary with no "drama," it would have been boring.

Guys! I saw the movie AND Bey in person yesterday! A friend of a friend of a friend, who I can't thank enough!

They took the phones away. But she gave about a minute intro. Gagged when she came out as she seemingly didn't for the LA premiere. Also saw Taylor Swift. All pretty casual and surreal at the same time lol.

I see much of tea has been split/discussed about My House etc, so will just say...go see the film!

As a lover of her BTS moments and docs, there was a lot more on offer in that regard than we've had in a while. It's not fly-on-the-wall per se and there's a clear set of throughline themes she sticks too, but there's more than I was expecting.

Won't spoil too much, but I think paying attention to a lot of her wording and articulation of her headspace kind of makes clear what this chapter of Bey's journey will be moving forward. From her performance style to her release frequency.

My House made me go back to streaming Delresto a couple of times. It kinda slaps

And who the hell described My House as similar to AHAP, it's not even close
