honestly the only thing bothering me this era is the lack of live performances and lack of visuals. those have been her bread and butter for decades. i get her need to try to prove she can be successful without them, but the fact that i had to obsessively follow the RWT (and then attend twice) just to see her perform it.....its unheard of. so yeah i totally agree with this

Yes! There’s a part of me that’s concerned about her streaming long term however my main frustration is the lack of consumption/outlets the fans get. I’ve never been that fan that cared about her personal life (I’m happy she’s healthy, doing well) however those aren’t things that make an artist for me.

When I connect with  or love something I want to be able to go watch the video or a live performance, or see behind the scenes on how it came together. We’ve literally haven’t had anything this era. Fans asked for a little bit of promo along with the performances and visuals, and she turned around and removed the performances and videos for remixes.

Do we really think anything is going to happen at the Houston show outside of maybe Megan or Travis performing? It’ll keep everyone hyped for that hour but then go back to nothing.

The delulus in here acting like clicking the upload button for the music videos is doing too much, or pressing the upload button for the RWT footage is doing too much, or handing a bundle of cash to Spotify and radio stations (like everyone else) is doing too much. Bfr! :rip:

If she wants to cement herself a legend, if she wants people to know her for quality music and not just single ladies, she needs to promote her music. That can be done with performances or behind the scenes marketing, at the moment she’s just touring. You’re not Madonna and past your prime, you can get hits if you tried!!

I can see both attending fr. She loves Megan and Travis was a special guest on Drake’s tour, his Houston shows was just the other day.

It’s me confused as to why she would bring Travis out even with the Houston connection just to remember she was on his last album lmao

Couldn't any of us make an educated guess and say this :rip: I think this account tries to flirt with the line of pretending he's associated with the Carters without outright saying it (because he isn't)

Do you actually believe the tour being filmed is going to be released? I don’t. She films everything and it will be thrown into the vault for when she retires or is dead.

Speaking of promo, I’m still wondering why she didn’t use TikTok this era? They just abandoned that, all the Bts tour vids they could’ve done, wasted.

She makes it very hard for labels with singles imo, that’s prob why Cuff It release was so slow and why we didn’t get anymore.

I don't see anything about it that needs manufacturing. she did it at every show, Europeans didn't understand it at the initial shows so it became a whole thing. had everyone just listened to the lyrics and understood the assignment from the get go it wouldn't have turned into this big trend.

as if she hasn't already cemented herself! as if people don't already know Lemonade, Dangerously in Love singles, Drunk in Love, Love on Top!

this wasn't even the question at hand. it was about streaming & chart longevity. nobody outside of this forum is looking at Spotify daily streams to determine anything. she's a legend and Crazy in Love is a classic regardless of what some jobless l*ddo's and sw*ffers say.

now, I also think we need the visuals and live performances. those will certainly help RENAISSANCE in the long run. I hope we get something at the end of this tour, some clarification as to what is going on with the visuals, acts, tour film. but I won't hold my breath.

this is another fan made conspiracy. artists do not pay Spotify for playlisting and paying radio stations to get airplay is a federal crime.

it is simply in Spotify and radio stations' best interest to play/highlight songs people want to hear, from artists who have proven themselves worthy. that's why Spotify is all up in Dua Lipa's colon and plasters Drake everywhere and radio keeps eating up whatever Ed Sheeran, Maroon 5 etc. serve.

she needs to make a song go viral. post a clip from RWT of her performing HEATED and streaming will pick up, radio will follow, for example. it even charted in the UK on its own while she was touring there, purely based on streaming.

I love how "Can we please have a regular rollout with a single being sent to radio and a music video posted?" gets met with "2007 Beyoncé is DEAD and she can retire when she wants!"

FOR REAL. Four singles/videos per era, three performances per single. There! Twelve whole performances a year. It’s not rocket science.

Okay THATS what I was wondering. I don’t why that’s a common misconception among the stan world.

im sawry im a terrible person but I always think about how she should have made the FWT monolith split like the twin towers during diva like that would be an inside hive joke. there's just something about that stage that had me in awe. :pig: now the rennie tour's production are more cohesive, the interludes and everything, but it didn't make the hairs on this wide neque stand. chills thinking about it, the anticipation when it was slowly turning before formation.:jonny6:

Eh not necessarily, payola has been a thing and streaming farms are real, labels pay them a lot.

https://businessday.ng/arts-and-life/article/explainer-streaming-farms-black-market-of-music-business/?amp=1

Payola is illegal and far from common practice. some details get murky when it comes to promo in exchange for concert tickets or interview appearance etc, but pay-for-play is a punishable offense.

Streaming farms and bots can easily be spotted by Spotify and disqualified from stream counts, and Billboard/Luminate further vets the US streams. the current cap for each Spotify user is 20 streams per song per day—it'll be thrown out after that. bot/farm support is also very much clockable by fans. Nigerian artists can feud on Twitter about streaming farms all they want (lol) — I don't see how that should be relevant to Beyoncé.

Bottom line is, why the hell would any one of us ask Beyoncé to use payola and streaming farms? please be serious.
