Kinda crazy that after all the hoopla about Dubai (even from stans), that that performance ended up being the best thing she could’ve done (within the parameters of what’s realistic for Beyoncé in 2023). Minimal controversy, amazing press, GP falling in love with it, viral moments, 35 million dollar check, minimal effort from Bey, etc.

And now a record breaking tour that we were told would move slowly because she waited too long to announce.

or a top 5 hit from Cuff It that we were told had already peaked in January.

Yeah, I’m here to say that Columbia & Parkwood know what they’re doing. Most other pop girls (especially her age) would kill for an era like this.

the fact that Dubai got crazy attention & press and it was a private show that she didn’t want anybody to see is proof that the demand for Beyonce can never be measured. That’s not for the haters…b/c even the Hive was parroting a lot of those pessimistic talking points. And those same visuals that ppl are saying no one will care about it anymore will be yet another huge moment.

I’M THAT GIRL should be a part of the intro, then she comes up on stage with ALIEN SUPERSTAR and after finishing it she does I’M THAT GIRL as the second on the setlist

An I’m That Girl mashed up with the CIL instrumental would go very hard

Facts!! The visuals will give the album a 3rd wind… her mind is just wow!! She really trusted the music to carry the era on its own and it did. We have to admit she has the biggest balls out of all female artists.

I think it’s safe to say the visuals are scrapped

Honestly I'm kinda starting to believe this is the case :skull:

With the tour and the Dubai concert we've had tea coming all along but when was the last time we've had anything on these? August? If they were still a thing stuff would've slipped from somebody by now.

If they don't come sometime shortly after the Superbowl they're most likely not coming anymore and the most we'll see will be tour backdrops. Time to make peace with the idea.

early october when the insider girlies said they’d come out this summer. after that 1 or two journalists/industry insiders talked about the visuals

i’m confident they weren’t scrapped, i don’t see why she/parkwood would still work on till october/november only to scrap them right after

Beyoncé isn't one to scrap something she's promised.

Put It In A Love Song is the only example that I can think of (over a decade ago), and I don't think any promises of a video came from Beyoncé's camp.

If anything she's re-shooting/re-doing/still perfecting the visuals. Scrapped seems unlikely and off-brand for her...not a good look to "scrap" your work.

The fact that they still aren't out doesn't mean much imo, as the tour was only just announced, there still are no performances, and she's quite obviously allowing this album to do whatever it needs to do without much assistance, and only putting in just enough when the time is needed (like the CUFF IT remix, months and months after it was named a single).

I mean it took a year between The Gift and BIK to come out. She could be doing the same approach again.
