Because it's her magnum opus. Reputation has some career highlights but as a body of work, it can't hold a candle to sacRed.

I'm talking relative to the rest of the album. The Max Martin songs make up more than 50% of the streams, and if you add all the album tracks it is not even worth a WANEGBT.

I just can't with Lover fans thinking it is a streaming success when in reality it was the worst performer of any A lister release in 2019 in that regard. And not by a small margin. Ed Sheeran, Post Malone, Ariana or Billie, be your guest. So bad that the label forced a shameless remix of the title track with the teen crooner of the moment.

And she did that while being the BIGGEST SELLING STUDIO ALBUM (pure) of the 2019, higher than the artists that you listed.

Also she was named THE BIGGEST ARTIST of 2019 by the most reliable source that registers worldwide stats, and again higher than the artists that you listed.

Taylor is adapting to the streaming era better than her peers, 14 f*cking years into her career. We will see where those other A listers be 14 years into their careers

reputation's album tracks STOMP on Red's so it depends how you look at it. Without IKYWT and WANGBT Red would be doing Speak Now numbers. Let's talk about that

Not you using daily streams as an argument when TUN has been out for 1 yr and 2 months, with the lead single being from 2018. You damn sure knows Lover will not be making what TUN is doing today 6 months from now. And her pure sales are result from the fans and status she earned by releasing her previous albums, not Lover.

 

My argument stands, Lover got stomped on streaming by every A lister release last year. From this year, probably The Weeknd and Dua Lipa are gonna surpass at some point. Maybe also Harry Styles on the very long run? It's really stable.

 

Not even mentioning Rihanna or Adele, that i'm certain will do better. You will gotta be happy Taylor has Selena and Halsey beat on Spotify.
