HDL from 14 to 7 per cent of being number 2 on iTunes in the last few hours... is not over! and Waka Waka cut another 10 per cent too...

Shakira's hit songs aged better. I liked J.Lo's performance better, but never went to check her music after watching it. Meanwhile Hips Don't Lie, Waka Waka, She Wolf and Whenever, Wherever have been stuck on repeat :jamming:

This is so weird, how's none of JLo charting? It's not like she did bad, I guess the people cared more about Shakira.

Everyone already owns and remembers JLo’s hits by heart so no need to stream/buy

I like both so no shade

Not sure if this sarcasm :skull:

OT: Shakira is the bigger star, we been knew.

I'm really shocked at Jlo's charting. Like has anyone in the last few years done the Superbowl and not managed to scrap the top 10 on Itunes? :deadbanana4:

This. This is the comment! @Yudelkis

They are talking about she's slaying on iTunes and Spotify! Meanwhile everyone else is talking about J.Lo's performance, and how she ate everyone alive.

She certainly don't need validation from iTunes or Spotify when she's had 4 #1's on the BILLBOARD HOT 100. :toofunny3:

I LOVE both icons, but no one was talking about JLo here :skull: It was Shakira's halftime show. The numbers (on ALL platforms) just further confirm that.

SHAK's Boost is AMAZING

O.T - JLo deservedT better.. her set was better than SHAK's imho.. but of course i love Shak and her music more.. how is this happening?? :deadbanana2:

maybe, JLo is mostly an actress in GP's eyes that they didn't even bother checking her catalog :deadbanana2:

the new "America is still sleeping" :deadbanana4:

This is shocking. Maybe it's because JLo went second...? But still.. not a single song charted? :psyduck: Meanwhile Shakira smashed iTunes and Spotify.

JLo did kinda ruin her momentum with Mi Gente :pukey:

That was the best part imo. Waiting for tonight was great but too long, and Get Right did deserve a longer part. It looked like JLo tried to do a lot in a short time, but she still was extremely great! Idk. I would give Shakira a 9/10 but Jlo an 8.5/10

No one should here be dissing Jlo. She was great.

It's a bit surprising, but also if you think about it.... J.Lo's music has never been that impactful... she's more known for her celebrity now than anything else. Sure, she had a successful pop career back in the day with several bops, but her music was never her strong point when it came to her fame. She's outgrown her music career.

Jennifer is arguably much more famous than Shakira (at least in the US) but all Shakira really has is her music.. that's really all she's presented to GP,  and great music at that. So in that sense I can see why Shakira's music benefitted most from this performance. Also Shakira's appeal is much further reaching than J.Lo's honestly.
