I mean, Christmas is over. Why wouldn’t it be plummeting? It thrives off of that ‘holiday spirit’ which goes from 100 to 0 by the day after the holiday takes place.

So in theory it could be #51 but wouldn’t be included as such on the chart? I ****ing hate Billboard and their stupid ass rules and limits. The Hot 100 should be an all-encompassing, comprehensive chart of the top 100 songs in any given week, without silly limits like iT hAs To Be ToP 50 tO cHaRt mess. Either go back to excluding holiday songs entirely or include them for their entire chart runs.. Same goes for any “recurrent” song. If a song’s #99 for the week, let it show. Or else the chart isn’t accurate.

Imagine if she ships the physicals this week and snatches another week on the chart
