I won't start freaking out just yet, let me pray that the next update for Cold is dark green :dancehall3:

Edit: **** IT I'M FREAKING OUT WHY IS COLD GETTING DARK RED UPDATES SO EARLY?

That song isn't not the tea. And I'm saying that as someone who really enjoys their songs.

But you should calm down. Interscope has promo and payola lined up for it, surely. So it shall do decently.

Those Adele stans are starting to become the Beyhive. Try to snatch Adele in every single discussion with their Adele is better than everyone stuff.

I love Adele but some of her stans should learn from her personality, she was always humble and kind. Not dragging her success every chance she get.

Right it's like they're insecure or something which is weird since Adele has it all.

OT: Wow Selena is coming to snatch :wooparty:

Taylor is still number two? Dang, she's too powerful, not even katy, bruno and adele will all their grammy boosts can dethrone Taylor. Basically, Taylor can have no promo and still lord the charts. Must be something that only Taylor can do.

I wonder if Adele will push a 5th single, since the era will be officially over in July... If so, she should go with "Million Copies Ago", because it's the most promising album track especially on iTunes (after "All I Ask" which received Grammys and Carpool Karaoke promo).

All of Adele's singles after hello are flops, there's no need for another flop. :dies:

Ed Sheeran's single "Shape of You" stays at #1 with a 30% LEAD while being sold at FULL PRICE.

With multiple live performances too, I guess the biggest male artist needs that for his lead single to beat a soundtrack. Taylor's old soundtrack stays at number two with 25% lead while having no live performance.

Selena is going to kick katy's hyped single out of the top 5. Looks like Bruno and his fourth spot is not safe too. :dies:

My fave doesn't do discounts. I can't relate :sorry:

I guess discounts will become the norm now. Interested in seeing if a song will ever be discounted on its release week, tho.

Same for Taylor with her 1989 tracks, all have better sales compared to 25's singles. Strange that Taylor sells more than the supposedly universally-loved adele.

"Send My Slayage (To Taylor Swift)" was a top 10 hit and has sold 1,2M copies, despite coming from an album that has sold 9,2M copies in the US alone.

"When We Were Slaying" didn't even have a video and Adele sabotaged it by not even perfoming it at the Grammys last year. The song went on to be a top 15 hit and has sold 900k to date.

"Grammys Under The Bridge" also didn't have a video, Adele hasn't even ackowledge it as a single, hasn't performed it on TV since November of 2015, and even then it's sold 400k to date and was top 30 on Billboard.

But drag her for not promoting her singles, I guess :fan:

Shake It Off = 5 million

Blank Space = 5 million

Style = 3 million

Bad Blood = 3 million

Wildest Dreams = 2 million

Out Of The Woods = 1 million

New Romantics = 700000

Adele is truly a flop if compared to Taylor.

No wonder adele discounts her album too much.

"Hello" has sold 4,81M copies to date, despite being released 1 year and 3 months after "Shake It Off"". When adjusting for sales decline, it has outsold it. :fan:

Adele doesn't care about her singles, she doesn't even promote them. She just cared for her lead single. And why would people buy the singles when they already have the album?  Moreover, 25 has been streamed over 1,4 BILLION times, so people have bought the whole body of work AND streamed it.

Keep being PRESSED, tho :fan:

Wait, I don't understand...

When IDWLF was released and was not getting more than 500k sold in its first week, Zayn was the main artist and it was a soundtrack single so it had nothing to do with TS, she was just a featured artist. Then it dropped out of top 10 in the second week and the blame was on Zayn, of course. These days it's doing very good (discounted and with banners on itunes, but it's ok), it's suddenly just Taylor Swift's hit, her stans keep forgetting to acknowledge Zayn.

I'm really confused, anybody care to explain, please? Thanks. :eatpopcorn:

I know right, when it's discounted, they are all making fun of Taylor and not Zayn. I guess Taylor is too big as an artist that all the haters only has her in their mind. Taylor's power is just too much.

You can drag Adele for many things, but she has NEVER, really NEVER discounted her albums or singles in the US.

Reading with comprehension is really important... did you even try to understand what was my point?

:celestial5: Try again.

You're trying to drag Taylor, I will never fall for such cheap shots.
