yeah of course, that´s why i Think he´ll come really Close to Adele´s album numbers. 500k+ debut and 2,5 maybe even 3 million in the end. literally only matched by Adele.

i underestimated how ****ing huge he is

He wasn't THIS big when he went on break. In fact, one of the main reasons he went on break was the underperformance of Lay It All On Me with Rudimental and he thought people were tired of him at the moment so he went away and he ended up coming back like twice as big as he was before

I loved Lay it All On Me and plus each single he released did worse than the previous one too which is another reason why he went away

uhm what? X era was massive. TOL was huge, Photograph has almost 600M streams, the album sold +8M. How did people get tired of him? :deadbanana2:

Lay it All On Me is a mediocre song yet it was another global hit

I never said x era wasn't huge but he didn't have a #1 hit and he did 180k in UK fw and 210k fw in the US. I expect him to do 500k in UK and much more than 210k in US. I'm just saying his a global star before but now he's a global superstar.

He literally said the underpeformance to Lay It All On Me and the fact that each single charted less than the previous one after Thinking Out Loud.

? That's another story. You were saying people were getting tired of him   Each single did worse than the previous one

180k in UK is still huge. As the US he didn't have his first smash hit until TOL, so him doing better #s than before was inevitable.

How is it different story? He did say people were getting tired of him. Each single did worse after TOL. In the UK, Bloodstream did worse than Thinking Out Loud, Photograph did worse than Bloodstream and Lay It All On Me did worse than Photograph

False.

It's quite likely first singles end up becoming the most successfull ones. yet Photograph was bigger than both Don't and Bloodstream.

I went by how each song charted at the time by okay

Not Selena and Ed passing Katy :deadbanana3:

And ED's UK power , he is coming :rip:

IDWLF dropping like a rock without the discount. iTunes really needs to humble and sell all songs at $0.69.

i say it again, i expect 500k+ debut week for / in UK.

Yeah, he's just too huge to not pull 400k at the very least in the UK and 1 milli in the US wouldn't be out of reach. He's the male Adele.

Maybe in the UK. Not in the US. Shape Of You is NOT a Hello in terms of hype, quality, or being an album seller type of song.
