I don't think so. Ed Sheeran is extending his lead on radio. They're doing the right choice to release it now. It will probably push them back to #1 on the digital sales chart and increase their streaming thanks to youtube. That actually gives them a shot at #1.

I've messaged Disturbed's manager, and he has no idea why TSOS is suddenly surging again. Since TSOS had gains last week, IF it can climb back into the Top 5 on Rock Songs, BB would let TSOS reenter with two straight weeks of gains.

 

EDIT: When combined with the second version showing up on the Rock ITunes chart (at about 6% of the main version), TSOS is actually up to #19 with 0.2242.

Watch the WW chart first, as it'll probably reenter there before the US T 200. It went to the T 100 WW, but only the Top 140 US. Maybe this effect is more local though. No other song on the ITunes Top 100 right now has 36 straight hours of solid green gains.

It got 11.9 million from streaming without the video last week. I think it's easily getting those streaming numbers you mentioned. It was at 69m audience impressions last week so it will probably be at 85mish next week.

Dua re-released BTO in the UK because it never charted in the UK. Radio stations instantly added it to their playlists and it was A-List on Radio 1 in like 2 weeks and people seem to love it. Without the discount it was already Top 15 and now it's #4
