I'm sure Despacito will break Mariah's record even if it starts to decline, they will obviously discount it to assure that it stays at #1 for another 3 weeks. :doc:

Omg, now it's gaining crazy in the US. :deadbanana2:

Mariah/B2M are going DOWN :deadbanana2:

#1. Despacito (Remix)

#13. Despacito

#184. Despacito (Remix)

Who would have thought that Demi from all of those girls releasing this year would be slaying iTunes like that :clap3:

I wonder if Luis' label will pull out the stops in the next couple of months. It looks like 12-14 weeks is almost guaranteed at this point. And they'll probably be booked to perform at the VMAs next month. Then a possible, imminent discount could come :deadbanana3:

Imagine a discount around the VMAs :rip:

20 weeks at #1 :rip:

Ugh. :doc: Despashito is really going to break the record. A terrible song replacing a boring one at the top. Not surprised how trashy my country's taste is.

Despacito being #1 with a 71% lead after all these months. The #2 song  is at 29% (with both Despacito versions combined). I truly hate this song & Bieber so I would have wished this wouldn't become the biggest song of the decade, but the GP has proven multiple times how trashy their taste is, so I wouldn't say I'm surprised :doc:

Awe its going to be okay. :fan:

Despacito is breaking the record. Its end game

1. Despacito

12. Despacito

Not the original song coming for songs that were just released. :jonny3:

Tbh. So disappointed that a Justin Bieber (:oh:) track who doesn't even know the lyrics to his own song is going to become the biggest hit of the decade.

Get over it. Without him this track wouldnt even be in question if breaking the record. This is what power is. :fan:

Honestly, I'll scream if Taylor doesn't release this year and this song gets discounted and spends the rest of the year at #1

Mess, it indeed had a big effect because it increased a lot.

and as I said there are coming a lot more increases like that - See You Again will reach 3b first probably (and people will mention that despactio is coming) then despacito will reach 3b then despacito will dethrone see you again. that a lot news.

I hope Despacito will break that record for many reasons. One of this is that it's not full english song, it's spanish or belingual, that I think makes it harder to be huge. On wikipedia there's list that like 10 or 15 songs non-english reached #1. The rest over 1000+ songs are english. that huge.

6. Sorry Not Sorry (+1)

172. Demi Lovato - Sorry Not Sorry (+8)

9 days inside the top 10. Still top 10 since the release date. Literally HOW? This is so unexpected :jonny:

but you know sales are now not that important, more important is streaming?

she is top 10 because she released song, two days after added to TH playlist, couple days after released some trailers for MV and today she released music video.

on the other hand she is 14 on spotify (fetish is 7 and I am not the one that compare demi and selena, but it's common here so I give you fetish position just for information, not for fight)

Yes, I know sales are not that important but this is impressive for Demi who comes from a flop like Stone Cold. No one thought she would still be top 10.

And this is an iTunes thread, so I'm going to post about iTunes. But now that you mention Spotify, SNS is outdoing every Demi single so far (it peaked at #9 days ago). And Fetish has topped TTH for more days than SNS, and she has also released teasers and pics of the music video as well.  By the way, SNS is higher than Fetish on Apple Music.

Demi has never been a big streaming force like Selena yet she's doing amazing too, so there's no point in comparing them.

Demi is doing outstanding. Its amazing how she has stayed inside the top 10 since release.

None of her other leads have done that I dont think.  :clap3:
