Bored + SB performer has not been announced yet = Hive spiraling about OTR III again

I'm gonna be on some @Cbreezy **** with this one, so bear with me. I think, if I can distil this, the Hive's frustration is that they've signed up to stan an artist named Beyoncé and only her, but somehow in the process Beyoncé and Jay Z have become a package deal and now they are attached at the hip. And yes, we can argue that they've always been a package deal since her solo career started, but it didn't bother us as much in the beginning since they've had some good songs together that were some of her biggest hits. But ever since Lemonade the Hive has soured on Jay Z for obvious reasons and even though Bey's forgiven him herself, most of the Hive has not, and he's kinda been increasingly annoying to us ever since. That's why since EIL/OTR II it feels like she is shoving him down our throats and we do not want him. In the 2020s he's been getting more irrelevant (while Bey has been getting even bigger despite her best efforts not to be) and had multiple different controversies (manufactured or otherwise) for which SOMEHOW she is ALWAYS getting blamed for. These days, Jay is only weighing her down and souring her brand, while Bey is the only one keeping him still relevant, which was not the case at the beginning of her career. Why do y'all think she has stopped posting on Instagram? Each time she's posted recently the comments have been absolutely VILE. It's honestly hard to read and I don't blame her for not posting anymore and just updating her website. This is why we are not cheering on the idea of her possibly doing the Super Bowl HT with him. In addition to being redundant at this point since she's done it so many times already, the controversy and the think pieces that would come out of as the result of that (Jay being on the committee and giving such a huge spot to himself and his wife) would only hurt her brand. And if they announced some EIL2/OTR III type of **** right after it would be even worse since most people are not clamoring for that at all. If they do end up doing it the only way I'd be fine and will enjoy it if she announced/released Act III after it. As for Jay, I am fine with him being behind the scenes and helping her in the studio like he's been doing, but nothing much else.

Didn't she also briefly change her name to Tinashé right around the time that article came out? I vaguely remember something like that, that was a weird time lmao. Anyways, her new album slaps

Do we know who owns the rights to her music videos prior to Parkwood? Is it Sony/Columbia? Is Music World involved in any way as well?

And y'all just realising this now lmao? Of course nothing is done without her explicit approval or request. Each decision, idea, suggestion etc. regarding her career goes through her and she solely decides if she wants to do it or not. That's why a lot of things that could be done by her team without her lifting a finger (e.g. simple social media promotion of her projects and MUCH more) is not done because she does not allow it. 4k B'Day visuals are a weird outlier here though since Yvette's useless ass explicitly mentioned them in the PR article that she wrote and released and I am pretty sure she discussed it with Bey before putting that sentence in there since we know that she usually does not respond to anything important without Bey's explicit approval. So this exact situation is just bizarre. Either Bey changed her mind last minute or someone stopped Bey from releasing them for whatever reason

Yeah, that's ridiculous. But what's also ridiculous that she has specifically mentioned them in the press release with them being released "today" and then nothing happened. My theories on why she hasn't released them yet: Someone (one of the directors? Mathew?) blocked her from releasing them once they saw the press release for whatever reason (money? ownership?). She'll release them closer to Christmas to promote the reissue/merch for the Christmas shopping rush. She is a weirdo and changed her mind last minute as she often does. My bet is on 2 or 3.

The Life of a Slopgirl: MAGA edition is coming to terrorize the charts till the end of the year, so hopefully Act III is coming Q1-Q2 2027

I agree with the people saying that them putting 0 effort into the DEADLINE EP and the whole 10 anniversary disaster turned the fans off. I was stanning them from the beginning, but it annoyed me as well and I'm lowkey over them. And on top of that, their new solo efforts are just mediocre: JENNIE - After what a great album that was "Ruby" her new EP is just straight up boring and her making half of the songs CD only is just I really hope that those are just some leftover songs and her 2nd album will be great whenever that will come out LISA - The new song is kind of a bop, but it sounds like Rockstar 2.0, just more of the same from her. Lalisa la diva la la I'm the best etc. ROSÉ - She is leaning into the whole Avril/Olivia sound and it should work for her, but the song kinda sounds like APT. part 2 and she looks bored in the video, idk it's like she is scared to go all on this new persona and because of that the output is just half-baked JISOO - Cute song and video that will do nothing for her unfortunately and I LOVED Earthquake and the rest of her 1st EP

The video is absolutely incredible and he's slaying the choreo, but all of that was wasted on this song. WHY is he not singing and just talking again? The random Madonna sample (which I love, but it does not fit here), the lack of proper lyrics? Who the hell has gotten into his head telling him that this was great? Bey is one of the biggest celebrities right now only behind Taylor, so she has a huge target on her back. Add to that that she is also black (racism+bigotry) and extremely talented (envy), so she is getting it from all sides with people wanting something from her (like use her platform to speak up) or trying to cancel her

It's been my observation as well since the genocide started. "Performative" is a good word to describe it as well. It's easy to bully, cancel, call out and shame regular people and celebrities which have little to no power to change things rather than people who have actual power to influence change like billionaire CEOs and presidents of countries. Yes, Bey should speak up because she has a huge platform and it will at least raise awareness. But those people's energy should not be focused on her or Ed Sheeran for that matter...
