I have to say "The Life of a Showgirl" album is a nearly flawless Taylor album for me. I think this album will stand the test of time with the general public much like the "Lover" album has. I can see this album doing 8-9x platinum in the U.S. like Lover if they play their cards right. It's already 5x Platinum so it's not a reach. I think Swifties might not rank this album or Lover high on their fav list but I think the GP loves this sort of pop.

I don't like when the swiftologst shows his chest hair on video. It grosses me out for whatever reason. I guess because he looks 15.

I love how Taylor Alison Swift sends so many online over the edge. She's probably right now getting served some good redwood tree while her detractors are online busy busting a temple vein defending Adele who hasn't cared about her own legacy or career in years. Someone check on that subreddit that obsesses over her more than her actual swifties. They will need to be sedated for Friday's final numbers reveal lol.

If Charlie kirk taught me anything is that conforming to anyone or anything will get you no where. Cis white straight men will never get the privilege they have nor the untapped opportunities. Catering to them will do nothing but breed resentment with them. My family has been in mixed race marriages for generations. Both sides of my family actually. My great grandfather was one of the few black African men in his village. My great grandmother was white. Even back then it was very much frowned upon and looked at badly. I remember my dad who has black lineage and is brown/black looking would drop me off at kindergarten and the looks other white parents would give us. I don't know where I'm going with this but yeah it was hostile and confusing for me. But we never discussed it, almost shameful. Conforming gets you nothing. Full stop.
