  1. Thank you for this ^^^ someone gets it!
  2. Sexyy Red has likeable qualities about her and has found her brand, but she hasn't managed to get a grip on the gp like Cardi B did... something about her is just not connecting with the gp in the same way. For the "hype" she has right now, I was quite surprised to see 0 Grammy nominations for her. I think Glorilla and Doechii are gonna be around much longer than her, but who knows I could be totally wrong and this will go #1
  3. Bruno needs to stop doing charity and focus on his own album
  4. The result of canceling an 80% sold out arena tour due to COVID and never touring again for 6 years afterwards... She is lucky she still gets booked at all, tbh. And her team is way out of touch with reality because this gig did NOT suit her.
  5. I blame Trumpism for all of this. He has empowered degenerates like himself to attack "the system" and weaponize the legal system to victimize themselves. Bring back shame!
  6. Mind you the Drake pedo allegations have been going around since at least 2019. Even his own fans have been discussing him being seen with young girls for ages. This wasn't just a rabbit pulled out of a hat like he claims. I'm sure at this point everyone knows the infamous Millie texts that not even his biggest a** lickers can defend to this day. Him inviting 16 year old Madison Beer to his house parties in LA. People in Barbados have evidence of him sleeping with a 16 year old on the island when he was there and he gets away with it because that is the age of consent there (I wouldn't doubt that's the only reason he made frequent trips there 🙃). There is also a video of him kissing a 17-year old girl at his show. I don't care if she came out saying now that it was "just for show", that was just revolting, PERIOD. I will also say it's interesting that he didn't sue Kendrick directly for the defamation but UMG instead. Kendrick would be required to show proof of whatever he claimed or at least explain why he said it. He clearly isn't so confident that would work in his favor. ALSO, are we discussing the same man that accused Kendrick of beating his wife and claimed that his child isn't his with clear intent to destroy his family, in a song that was also released under UMG? The same man that claimed to "feed him" the information and literally asked Kendrick in the Taylor Made Freestyle to talk about him liking young girls before NLU was even released? The same man that couldn't keep a consistent narrative this entire beef? It's just gross to see you painting Drake as the victim in this when it is clearly only Whitney Alford, if anything. She is the only one with actual grounds to sue for defamation. He basically called her a w*ore and asked her to shake her a** for Free, further proving his hatred for women. I feel sorry for HER children. Are we so sure that Kendrick's kids didn't suffer as much as Drake claims Adonis did? PLEASE remove this idea Drake is a victim, that man is a serial gaslighter and manipulator. I would never give him the benefit of the doubt for anything ever. Please see the light, I beg you 🙏
  7. The obvious answer is Drake. He is already letting us know he is in his right-wing racist white boy phase by befriending Adin Ross. Next Stake stream will be him and Trump because the one with Adin flopped lol.
  8. I'm surprised that I'm saying this but she could actually do way better than this guy lol. And let's not discuss the money, because if she cared about money, she wouldn't have let her career get to the point that it is now (practically non-existent). I would have fired my manager and my PR team at least twice by now. They definitely messed with her bag and she doesn't even realize it..
  9. I do agree with this actually. And judging by Camila's last performances, she seems to be very covered up wearing a whole body suit. I just feel that he is already influencing her to change herself and her values/beliefs for him and it's going me the ick. I hope I'm wrong!
  10. Because billionaires are guaranteed to cheat lol
  11. Because he is fake and a horrible human lol. He has done enough people dirty behind the scenes that they are ready to air him out. The "nice guy" persona is only an act for when he wants something from you. Also, all he does is promote degeneracy and align himself with the worst human beings he can find. His music (which has been declining for years) is finally starting to get overshadowed by his antics and everyone has had enough. That "Surviving Aubrey" documentary is gonna be the final nail in the coffin.
  12. You have missed the point entirely it seems.. Drake was selling more than his other rapper peers and did almost 500K album units with his FIRST album in 2010. From the moment he came on the scene he was the big dog. The argument was about consistency, which you just admitted Benito never had since he "just peaked 2 years ago" and he is already flopping after this supposed 12 year grind. It was a slow rise and fast fall, unlike Drake who has been in the top 5 of the best-selling artists (of ALL genres) for 15 years straight. Even his last 2 duds did double Benito's numbers. To be as clear as possible this time, Benito never reached the heights of fame that Drake had for his fans to be getting this comfortable. The level where you could "flop" by your own standards and still sell more than 90% of artists in a calendar year (the other 10% of artists is literally just Taylor Swift in Drake's case). BB fans were just getting way too brave by comparing the two and that is all..
  13. A year from now y'all are gonna start the same thread about Peso Pluma
  14. I dislike Drake with a passion and I can even admit this take is just delusional and wrong Not a single Latin reggaeton artist can be compared to him in terms of numbers and longevity. All of them seek his success and lifestyle. He did what Benito did with UVST for 15 years straight... Benito is about to head back into the khia asylum after year 4.
  15. Dua Lipa changed her hair back to black for 2 tours in a row now, so that's not an excuse.
  16. 1. Reggaeton has become very oversaturated and uninspiring as a genre in general. All his songs are starting to sound the same just like Drake. 2. Benito has been very lowkey lately, especially after the breakup with 🕯. He's not promoting as hard or making headlines like before. 3. Most popularity peaks for musicians in the streaming era have been max 3-4 years. His decline is not surprising to me tbh. Karol G next.
  17. Give it up, Aubrey. Get off ATRL and take your a** to court.
  18. Camila and Shawn were already left behind in 2019.
  19. Not surprised at all by people finally admitting the song was good. Camila's hate train is the most forced hate I have ever seen from the "gp" and the media. I totally understand and respect that some people have genuine reasons for not liking her, but those people (at least the ones I know who are mature) just don't speak on her period. They just don't care for her and don't waste precious minutes of their life speaking about someone they don't like. Trashing a song and the artist every other day with the hope of getting a viral hate tweet even though you secretly like the song is giving secret fan tbh... Very pathetic.
  20. Camila honestly confuses me. On one hand, she says she doesn't care about numbers anymore and just wants to make music. On the other hand, she seeks out the biggest A listers for collabs and still tries to play the popstar game that she has always played (i.e., C,XOXO was a shift, but not THAT big of a shift from her usual palatable pop songs). It's very contradicting and I think her wanting to go more niche is just her finally coming to terms with the fact that she is not as interesting to the general public as she used to be. You could say she kind of "lost touch" and couldn't keep up her own hype. However, her name is still well known enough from her past success for her to be respected by/work with the big dogs in the industry like Drake, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, etc... The discrepancy between the way the internal music industry treats her vs. how the general public treats her is why I think her label and a lot of brands are hesitant to invest in her and her tour. For example, I'm sure Drake gave her HU for free thinking he would get at least some clout or hype back but it flopped into oblivion. Would he work with her again? Probably not. Same with Playboi Carti. Even Bacardi might drop her soon after this era because I was certain they were going to sponsor her tour and that is basically the reason why the partnership exists. When brands and artists aren't sure how much they will get out of a partnership with her, they won't work with her because it will end up in a net loss. A tour of any degree would be an even bigger risk for them and it would have to be entirely self-funded at this point. She may be a D-list artist based on how she currently sells, but she is still criticized based on A-list artist standards. I can imagine how hard it is for her to negotiate even something like a tour because by now she SHOULD be able to sell out arenas (even Big Time Rush recently did). But she, her label, and her own fans know she can't... A lesson for her from all this is to stop saying numbers don't matter because they do. No numbers = less budget from label = less visibility as an artist = less opportunities = less money = no career. You would think someone who has been in the industry for 12 years would get it by now, but she must live in denial or is too coddled by her team and parents to understand this. It's just so unfortunate because she has the talent, charm, and charisma to avoid all this.
  21. She's not doing a solo tour because of multiple reasons: 1) The most obvious reason is that the label doesn't want to invest in her and a tour after the underperformance of the album. She practically has 0 motion at the moment. You need demand to sell tickets, which she currently doesn't have. This is why she is testing the waters by headlining whatever festivals she can book. Luckily for her, it's looking good so far. 2) She seems to want to move on and dissociate herself from the C,XOXO era after all the hate trains. I noticed a shift in her energy in July/August and now her heart just doesn't seem in it anymore.. She is probably itching to get back in the studio and make more music so she can start fresh. A proper theater/arena tour would mean less time for studio sessions.
  22. Numbers wise yes, everyone was tuned in to hear his new features fresh after the beef (his haters were ready to drag them by default). But people were also trying to cancel her left and right for associating with him, also doesn't help that she said Drake and Kendrick should talk their issues out over dinner She should have just kept her mouth shut or avoided that clash all together because people that weren't familiar with her just remember her supporting an alleged pedo at the peak of his hate train
  23. I really think that if Drake wasn't on this album, it would have been received a lot better. It definitely gave her a lot of negative attention and hate that she didn't deserve because the music itself was better than anything she has ever done. I think that association hurt her more than the Charli XCX comparisons did but no one wants to admit it
  24. Love Rosalia down but she already won Latin Grammys AOTY and that was enough recognition imo. Renaissance was WAY more impactful and memorable.
