1989

When do you think TS12 is coming?
I'd rather have a really good one in 2026 than one every year. March 2026 is my answer.

Taylor Swift's re-recordings: Fair artistry or biggest scam in music history?
Well, if there had been a dirty secret agreement beforehand between Taylor and Scooter Braun, it would be the biggest scam in history. But from what we know about Taylor and Braun, I doubt this is the truth. Those six Taylor albums are worth gold in my opinion; they contain by far her best work. Selling them to her at any price didn't make sense because their value would continue to increase. But at the same time, they couldn't compete with Taylor's power, with her fandom. I mean, she said "listen to the new versions, not the originals," and millions of fans listened. So, because of this, the masters no longer had as much "compound interest." Personally, I could never handle re-recordings; I always preferred the originals because you can't "go back to the moment," feel how you felt 15 years ago, or whatever you want to call it. Only Fearless and maybe 1989 seemed slightly better to me... Anyway, it was exhausting and greatly influenced the "Taylor Saturation." I hope you focus on making good new music .

Taylor and Billie go home empty handed from the 67th Grammy Awards
Maybe she doesn't need him as much anymore and wanted to show another side.

Taylor and Billie go home empty handed from the 67th Grammy Awards
Okay, but that year she didn't have an album in competition, but her big bet was All To Well movie...and she won.

Taylor and Billie go home empty handed from the 67th Grammy Awards
Good theory. I had done an analysis and at least since leaving BMR Taylor had not attended any ceremony where they did not give her the AOTY, always making excuses, that's why I thought she was going to win. Maybe this year he asked not to win but to present an award, as you say. Furthermore, I perceived her all the time as if she knew what was going to happen.

Taylor Swift
Well, it's a matter of perception. First of all, it's very rare for an artist in their 30s to have been more creative than in their 20s, that's solved by filtering. I mean, Dear John or All To Well are long, but they don't seem to be, while several songs on TTPD seem to last longer than they really do, it's something normal in music, Hey Jude doesn't seem to last as long as it does, and so on. There's always a tendency for length in Taylor, Speak Now is long, but I don't feel like there are any songs left over, you could probably get some out of it, but you couldn't. Lover (which lasts less) just like you could add "Only the Young", you could get a few songs out of it, Folklore and Evermore could have been a single album or a double album of 10 songs and not 2 of 17, Mignights could have been part of TTPD, and TTPD well... There's a tendency to go out of control from that moment on. And I say this with sadness, they might be better records if I wasn't thinking about the charts. Besides, I doubt there are many people willing to listen to all 50 Dolly Parton or Johnny Cash records...just saying.

Taylor Swift
In my opinion Antonoff flattens her music, makes everything sound the same. He's only there because he's friends with Taylor. And yes, he doesn't generate feedback. It's noticeable because on TTPD the songs (I'm not referring to the number of tracks) are excessively long, all of them are at least 1 minute too long... at least. It's a total yes sir, which is what a producer should not be. In my opinion her best albums are when she was in Big Machine, precisely because she had feedback.

2024 US Election Megathread 🇺🇸🏛️
The progressive agenda or woke is violent but disguised as lamb. An idea is taken and considered as an unquestionable dogma, without measuring its effects on reality (unquestionable even for reality). It is something learned that clings to the theoretical and moves away from measuring its effects in reality, consequently it has nothing to do with the people. It's crazy, but today the extreme right represents the people more than the left itself, not because people have become fascist or the right has become more empathetic, it is simply because the entire left adopted these dogmas rather than anything. They have to do with people. I didn't support any of them, I just hope that a new center-left connected to reality emerges from this and this collective madness ends.

The hate train on Joker 2 is becoming ridiculous
I think it's a matter of expectations. I also went with the idea that it was the worst movie in history and I didn't find it that bad...of course it's not good, let's say it's just another one of the bunch, just a little longer.

Woman makes Taylor Swift-themed yard display for Halloween
For Taylor folklore she just put the album on the grass.

Taylor Swift's TTPD becomes the album with the most tracks over 100m on Spotify.
I don't like Brat, but it's unfair to compare her because she's not an American artist. What was the last non-American album that did that? On the other hand, I think Taylor's albums from 2019 would be better with editing, this news (or fact) is not helping.
