there's been an influx of itunes bonus tracks and i just find it dumb. firstly not a single soul under the age of 40 still uses itunes, secondly oftentimes it's literally one of the best songs they choose to make an exclusive (see: kiss here by adela, never do by olivia rodrigo, etc..) hello release this!!! ariana recently dropped her petal live album—but with a catch—you have to buy the entire album again (she's already dropped 3 other live versions doing the same thing.) now i'm sure these live versions will make its way onto streaming at some point, but the desperation is beyond me fans shouldn't have to keep buying and rebuying different versions of the same album to hear other songs we moved out of the digital download itunes era over a decade ago in conclusion digital store exclusives are stupid and unnecessary in 2026 put it on streaming like a normal person!
