It might sound surprising, but maybe it's simply because some people share that view. I'm not saying it's everyone or the majority — I'm not counting, and I don't care. Some think this way, others think it's a great album. Is that parroting, too? Don't think so. we are here to share that different views. And some of them overlap.

For me, the core issue is that her recent albums have lost any sense of distinction. Creatively, she isn't evolving. Midnights and Life of a Showgirl could just be the same record. There is no way to deny it. It would be hard for non swifties to assign the songs to the right album based from the sound. Or even differentiate the songs. Every song follows the same formula: muted keys in the beginning with near-spoken verses, a slight lift at the bridge - she gets a bit excited and then a flat, slightly higher chorus. I strongly believe: she needs a longer break. 3-4 years.

If this is what the life of a showgirl sounds like, then I guess she's napping backstage. Soft, flat, lifeless. Where's the big band? The trumpets and the drums? Something that captures the theme and the visual concept more. This isn't sparkle — it's elevator music.

These comparisons about the number of hits are pointless. From a success pov they are both at a level that would justify to let them run the show. For me it is Taylor, not because of her number of hits, but because her music fits much better and is also more fitting to medleys. I love Adele (would be my personal taste and preference), but her songs are not working in a medley. They need to build up and grow. I don't see it working pushing 6-10 of her songs in this 15 minute show. On the other hand, Adele would be much more covering the multi generational audience, watching these event.

Sorry, but how many versions will she release upfront – week per week. I was a stan and became annoyed. The way she is pushing so hard for every single record she wanna break with that mechanics is so calculated and over the top already. Why can´t she just announce all versions at the same time?!

After the last weekend, where Taylor announced a new album, and this one where Beyonce did, I saw people already looking at Lady Gaga pictures and try to find the hints to her announcement. I think Taylor already overstressed this type of teasing & hinting in the past years until now. Everything she is doing feels like a big "Escape Room", where no one will get out. So, the fact that other artist jumping on the train, feels bit annoying – remember Dua Lipa or Ariana kicking off her new eras with hints here and there. BUT then: the most disappointing fact is, that they try to recreate this Taylor-Formular (that worked out extremely well), but than they are not really able to hold this excitement and anticipation after the release of the first single. If they would put so much effort in the roll out and promotion of their work after the release compared to all that teasing marketing bla bla upfront, it would be much better. WDYT?

Think it’s just because “Munich” asked her. The Munich government, the local concert organizer and the venue (Messe Munich) worked hard to convince her. So, I think it was just about the full offered deal. Seems like it was not her plan to have a summer residency in Europe and looking for the right spot - more the other way around.

Where is Easy on me in that list? I thoughts it’s still holding the record with 19.7M?

Something is weird. She is planning every album and TV with lots of Easter Eggs and stuff, and now this song is getting spoiled by a random teaser on Amazon? i think, either - something went wrong in the communication with Amazon, teaser release etc or, maybe the original song was just edited by the sound design of Amazon to make it fit for the trailer and it’s not her TV. why should she just drop this before something on 1989 TV. She would risk that the spotlight is now on Reputation, and ending the 1989 TV hype before release. That does not sound like her

This! Why do we need to compare the whole time to other artist just based on success etc. this whole Taylor vs Adele is boring and outdated.

As a European (Berlin) I will let you know, that this `gas prices would skyrocket to abnormally high levels" is the case for end-consumers right now. Unfortunately the end-consumer will not benefit immediately from the current price development. Background: The article you´ve shared is around the industry prices. But the gas suppliers had to buy their gas already in summer 2022 (when the prices were insane), because otherwise they don´t have enough in stock for the winter season. So, the new price development won´t have an impact on the consumer prices at least until end of next year. Eg. I already got my letter from my gas supplier and the costs for heating will increase from 60 to 375 EUR per month. So the increase of gas costs is still the case. IMPORTANT NOTE: Just to avoid any misunderstandings ;-) From my POV the sanctions against Russia are more than justified. I just want to correct the misinterpretation on the current consumer gas prices.
