  1. It's one of the few songs that has truly stood the test of time and has even become more popular now than it was back then. Without exaggerating, I think it's on the same level as Thriller, Like a Virgin, Bohemian Rhapsody…
  2. She could have easily gone to Miami. Her passport had not been taken away. They were able to prove that she was living in Spain. Stop making up nonsense. If you live in Spain for more than 183 days, you are considered a tax resident for tax purposes. They were able to prove that she spent more than 183 days there. Besides, she was living in Spain with her son and Piqué.
  3. I'd love to, but I have to work and I can't go. But I'll see her in the future for sure.
  4. Yes, I'm from Spain. And I don't understand what my nationality has to do with knowing that she evaded taxes. Also, fortunately or unfortunately for you, I'm a lawyer and I know tax law very well. Every citizen has to pay taxes. Defending a wealthy person just because you're a fan and like her music is embarrassing. Especially when she herself admitted to tax evasion in 2012, 2013, and 2014.
  5. Shakira's fans and tabloid media outlets (likely paid by Shakira's team) are trying to push the narrative that she did not defraud the Spanish Tax Agency. First of all, she admitted to committing tax fraud between 2012 and 2014 by paying taxes outside Spain while actually being a tax resident there (which was proven). The 7 million euros she had to pay were part of an agreement between her legal team and the prosecution to avoid a prison sentence. In addition to those 7 million, she also had to repay all the taxes she had evaded during those years. Regarding 2011, authorities were only able to prove that she spent 163 days living in Spain, short of the 183 days required by law to classify someone as a tax resident. She is still a convicted tax fraud offender.
  6. If Rihanna had kept making music, she would have failed. She lacks artistic vision, talent, and creativity. She's been lucky that her career ended with ANTI, her only decent album. She has massive hits, but nothing more. Taylor, whether we like it or not, creates her own music and is involved in her art. She would have had a few more hits, but she would have ended up like Katy Perry — forgotten.
  7. But if Tate McDonald's fans told me her album was more successful than Gaga's, what went wrong?
  8. Considering that the OGH say her album is a failure and that only DWAS is successful, shouldn't that be reflected in the album's sales like it happened with Benson Boone — or not?
  9. It was released on November 22, 2024; it should have entered the Top 10 considering the success of Luther in 2025, the Super Bowl, etc.
  10. Benson Boone in 2024 having the #1 song on the IFPI chart with Beautiful Things, but not appearing in the Top 20 albums. Miley with Flowers was #1 in 2023 but her album ranked #19. Why is Gaga Top 10 if supposedly her album only has one popular song and the rest is a flop?
  11. Benito must have begged Lady Gaga to appear on the show… let's be serious.
  12. As a Beyoncé hater (joking), this is the first time I've actually been excited about one of her albums. If it really is rock, it could end up being one of her best albums—at least vocally. I've never had this level of hype for her music before. I'm expecting a lot, and I don't think she's going to disappoint.
  13. it's just a figure of speech. Obviously, the situation in Palestine is still ongoing.
  14. As a Gaga fan, it does bother me that she hasn't taken a clear public stance on the issue of Palestine. But I will never claim that she isn't involved in the social and political movements happening today. We can't expect her to be the standard-bearer for every single cause. I also understand that being a public figure doesn't mean you have to constantly speak out on every issue, because today it's Venezuela, yesterday it was Palestine, and tomorrow it will be Iran. At that point, her social media or interviews would consist exclusively of commentary on global crises. There are countless problems in the world, many of them extremely serious, and the fact that she hasn't spoken publicly about one of them doesn't mean she doesn't care or isn't troubled by it. But she simply can't be talking about everything 24/7. At this rate, her critics will end up saying she hasn't spoken out about a penguin strike in the Arctic in defense of walrus rights.
