BLACKPINK - "Pink Venom"
It's a shame that they might not be able to score a RAK, but at least they are smashing everywhere else, giving me the KTL era vibe. The spotify # seems to indicate that a fair amount of GP are also streaming the song; I don't doubt Blink's abilities but I doubt fandom power alone can make the song stay #1 for 3 days....

BLACKPINK - "Pink Venom"
This is better than I expected! Same formula but the chorus drop is less hard-hitting and more bouncy and sexy! My husband who's not into K-pop at all really like it too, I think most people just hate the song for the sake of hating :( That said, the melody is kind of weak, but it's miles better than KTL

BLACKPINK
It's almost been a goddamn 2 years and still no any music updates. I'm speechless

drivers license breaks Drake's all-time record in US Spotify
I get what you said and I think it's a fair analysis. However, the same argument can also be used for sales. K-pop stan (especially BTS) use funds by oversea donation to distribute to a small group of fans here, encouraging them to mass buying the same song(of different versions) 20 times, propelling the song to #1 while the streaming across all platforms is abysmal. Will that represent a fair consumption of a nation? I think no, but stans will argue it's still consumption and shall be reflected on BB Hot 100. If anything, streaming weight shall be higher given people's music choice diversified much more than the past, so Olivia pulling these # definitely have a fair amount of GP push here. It's better than mass buying given at least Spotify will filter streams and detect bots behavior. As for mass website D2C sales, you can't really monitor that well.

Spotify: Most Playlisted Female Popstars: Dua #1
I agree with that the methodology used in this analysis is certainly flawed, and I even stated in my first paragraph that there are other factors need to be considered. Also the # of playlist doesn't include demographic breakdown, and maybe OP could make a more compelling cases if there's more detailed regarding her U.S playlist. I'm simply pointing out something that I noticed among Dua stans on ATRL. For the record, I'm probably one of the few Dua U.S stans (or more precisely a casual fan of her) and I even promoted "Levitating" to my husband. She's heavily payola here in the U.S (the # of times I heard her song on the radio vs the actual certifiaction # just screams payola). I'm glad that "Levitating" seems to become more of a GP driven song now, but there's no denying that she's been heavily promoted and the results so far is underwhelming. (pre-"Levitating")

Spotify: Most Playlisted Female Popstars: Dua #1
I get what @Sept trying to say, but like other users mentioned, the timing of the album release, the # of studio album an artist have also matters. Also I feel like when talking about Dua's Payola, the default is about her U.S presence. Artists like Ariana, Gaga and Taylor are already well-established, Adele and Riri despite not releasing albums for years, have GP classics that even if it's not on a playlist, I will search for them regularly. I also don't get why Dua stans being so defensive about her payola. I like Dua's music, but she's still not a big name here in the U.S, and it's no denying that Warner is really trying hard to push her. I gives kudos for her promoting and working hard to establish her presence here, and I think she deserves recognition here, but why are stans so hard-press denying her obv radio and playlist payola?

Dua's Levitating #8 on US Spotify
It's always funny that U.S is so late catching up with good music, but whew it finally came along! This song is literally pop perfection and even my straight guy friends love it. Some of yall just plain hating. Well I guess it makes sense, imagine the jealousy from some stans when you faves release an outdated pop/dance album and don't even bother getting out of the bed promoting the album, instead pushing that green atrocious Oreo! The bitterness! And stop pitting so hard against hard-working woman that wants success.

TOTC new projections: willow #1, AIWFCIY #2
Dynamite just reached new peak at pop radio and they also released a Christmas remix Maybe they will also release a New Year remix, Martin Luther King day remix or a President day remix
-
BB YE Top Female: Taylor #1, Billie #2; Top New Female: Doja
Taylor, Billie and Dua The overall Hot Artist chart is so messy, like how come there's only ONE female artist in Top 10? I don't remember past few years, but pre-2010 it's common to see multiple female entries, can we go back to then

HDD: Bad Bunny #1 w/ 111k, Miley Cyrus #3 with 51k
That user got skull-dragged in KTRL thread and then got clocked here again. She/He really doesn't know his/her place. OT: Both Megan and Miley deserve. I've been looping their albums. I want Miley to have a #2 album, the track qualities are good.
-
H100: Life Goes On #1, Monster #8
LGO has 129k digital sales, which gives them 258 points for the charting. Their TEA is 35k, so the album singles get 350k download and that's why they are dominating the sales chart.
-
B200: BTS #1 with 242k, Megan #2 with 100k, Taylor #6
What @Starkboy means is the 177k include digital album download too, which costs $8.99 on Itunes. Also you could get it on Amazon/Google Music. Those are not bad numbers, just underwhelming. But there's no need to purchase extra physical when it's only 6 new songs with one version that is overpriced.

US Airplay Discussion
The fact that Dynamite stays at the bottom at Radio Callout across all metrics yet stilling increasing on spins truly tells you how corrupted and out-of-touch radio stations are nowdays. Also, it's their biggest hits in the U.S (even fraudulently) so no way Columbia not trying to keep it floating for a while. The song mostly like will rise in chart again due to album release on Friday

H100: Mood 2x #1, I Hope #5, 34+35 #8, Dakiti #9
I must be missing something. The points gap? The radio won't make over 70 points, the streaming # is similar, does 4k vs 9k sales really make up for 50 points difference ? OT: Not really digging the TOC new format, why can't we just have the old spreadsheet one? Much more informative and concise.
