Your bad faith argument hinges on comparing 2 different genres which have different styles and conventions, and thinking you can apply the same criteria to them. A bare-bones instrumentation isn't going to credit that many people because there's not a lot there. Doubly so if it doesn't use samples. Even more so if it doesn't have a layered and dynamic arrangement where anyone who could reasonably have had a creative input is fairly acknowledged. Even someone like Justin Timberlake, who got a credit on a song just for banging on a bucket in a jam session. If you don't know what you're talking about, I suggest you either become familiar with the topic, or stick to what you do know.
