the saddest part is how that Taylor album is still a genuine flop. Despite whatever "success" it had. Aka SALES RAARR! I have friends who are genuine huge fans of Taylor who don't ever listen to or talk about or acknowledge that disaster. Imagine being the most "successful" artist in a long time and not making music worthy of that acclaim. Taylor has become a celebrity and is no longer an artist. Literally I was thinking 30. I forgot 25 is the record before that

Tbh I know she has a lot of sad songs - but this one ties with Bends for almost making me cry whenever I listen to it. Bends bc it's literally the saddest ******* thing to think about. And Something Tragic bc it comes from the breakup phase where you really WANT to get over someone but they still have that bit of control over your emotions whenever you think of them

Same! Never Let a Good Thing Die has grown on me and it was my morning commute titty-shaker today. absolutely! This is one of the songs I cared for the least, but it's actually one of the choruses that gets stuck in my head the most! And it made me revisit the song because of that. Her power! Its a better version of both All That and Heartbeat (combined) I took away my downvote bc I don't wanna tarnish your reputation (no pun intended)- but THANK GOD Carly is not in Taylor's place. We'd be screwed and also in debt. Our girl is that relatable cult fave and we love that for her

Trust me- I felt the same on my first listen of day. You just need to listen to all 24 tracks. And then go back on shuffle so you can hear each song as an individual song.

Congratulations to Hold Me To The Light from being the first album track to be added to my Best of CRJ playlist. I can say after 2 days this is top tier Carly track. So far.

I just listened to the whole thing through a gym sesh. I think it got cute and interesting from "I'm the cake" onward. The first half is very textbook Tove and a little too "heard it all before". It's not bad- not amazing. Still gonna be a great show. After the 36min album finished, I had PPP and Hold Me to the Light on repeat for my abs and stretching- of course

that's awesome you say that because she said her goal with this album was to mimic EMOTION in the sense that it feels like a cohesive collection. Even though none of this sounds like EMOTION (except Back of My Heart and More could have fit in this album) girllll what's the tea with the Tove album? I'm doing chunks of like 5 songs at a time to digest it. Mother said "oh you wanna stay fed, bagguettes?! CHOOOOKE!" as she shoves 24 perfect song in our piggy snouts
