  1. Idk why people still take chinese netizen's comments seriously. There are a lot of similarities in the traditional elements among 3 East Asian countries culture-wise. Chinese ultranationalists often claim everything as theirs except for Covid. Last time Wonyoung wore a traditional Korean phoenix-shaped hairpin which was widely used accessory in royal families in Joseon era yet c-netz still accused her of cultural theft because phoenix and dragon are "uniquely Chinese culture". They even claim hanbok and kimchi being stolen from Chinese culture ffs. Anyway IVE best album so far, it's a no-skip. Heya deserves to be the main title track despite a bit too much rap parts for my liking. Accendio is cute but I feel like it didn't live up to the hype (as it was touted as Love Dive's sister before the release). Ice Queen is the true gem of the album.
  2. Can we ignore that swiftie troll and put the focus back to Angelina who is speaking up for Palestine in a direct way when 99% of Hollywood didn't dare to do so?
  3. Here's Ben-Gvir's hysterical racist outburst about his whale looking mayo ass having more right to travel around West Bank than the Arabs. Ben-Gvir is currently one of the most popular politicians in the country and has strong support from Israeli youth who are increasingly leaning right wing. For the neutral people, do you think we have any chance at a 'reasonable' two-state solution with genocidal maniac like this and Bibi infesting the Israeli government? https://www.vox.com/world-politics/2023/2/23/23609584/israel-right-wing-young-voters-palestine https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/elections/2022-09-13/ty-article-magazine/.highlight/why-so-many-young-israelis-adore-this-racist-politician/00000183-3743-db19-abcb-37fb61520000
  4. Just to add some links about the organ harvesting of Palestinians which was first covered by a Swedish newspaper. At first both Israel government and US representatives condemned the news as baseless and antisemitic "blood libel" only to have their Chief Pathologist confirmed the story in a leaked interview in 2000. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_Aftonbladet_Israel_controversy https://www.theguardian.com/world/2009/dec/21/israeli-pathologists-harvested-organs Nowadays wealthy Israelis are still the main customers of illegal organ trafficking ring from Central Asia https://www.timesofisrael.com/kazakhstan-holds-doctor-over-israel-linked-organ-harvesting-scheme/
  5. New Zionist propaganda debuted: Baby in the Oven The only problem? They straight out stole this story about a Palestinian baby killed in the Deir Yassin massacre. This is like the nth example I've seen about Zionists stealing Palestinian tragedies, switching themselves in the victim roles for their disgusting propaganda. I can't imagine how sickening it is that the atrocities committed against you are being used and twisted by the perpetrators to justify their cold-blooded genocide of your own people and this is the reality Palestinian have to face up with for 75 years. Remember to set the record straight every time you come across a ZioNazi trying to guilt you with this made-up "Hamas is barbaric savages" bullsh*t.
  6. And now they are circulating an AI video of Bella supporting Israel They also pull out the Black Jews brigade to score some brownie points with BIPOC Zionist media is SCRAMBLING and their propaganda is falling apart we love to see it
  7. The backfire It's a Spanish piano ballad she sings with her children with 0 promotion ofc it's not going to be stomping on charts like her other upbeat releases. Still it's such a beautiful song deserving to smash.
  8. I Am still has Korea in a chokehold. The best gg comeback song of 2023 deserves.
  9. That's just a preference. Definition of critique:
  10. I guess I can never understand the mindset of kpop stans. Even if their faves stay single for the rest of their lives it's not like you have any chance with them, so why the bitterness and jealousy? This couple is extremely hot, successful and cute together. They could be the tomdaya of kpop yet their fans fight like it's WW3.
  11. The same crowd that gave standing ovation to child rapist Roman Polanski. They love abusers over there.
  12. A Finnish song did that. Sweden stans keep dragging Cha Cha Cha's streams only for the King to come out on top Hienoa Jere, sinua muistetaan ja myös rakastetaan, jopa maailmanlaajuisesti He even helps pineapple juice to get sold out in Finnish supermarkets because the song talked about raising a glass of piña colada. https://www.mtvuutiset.fi/makuja/artikkeli/kaarija-huuma-tyhjensi-kauppojen-juomahyllyja-viikonloppuna-kysynta-moninkertaistui/8699164 Actually Finns are not really mad at being #2. We won the public vote. We don't have to pay a massive amount of money to organize the contest next year. The winner is our next door neighbor and everyone can travel to Sweden easily to attend the event. It's a win-win situation.
  13. Korean culture this Korean culture that but this whole debacle was started by jobless i-roaches on twitter and tiktok while real Koreans only caught wind of this "controversy" today and majority of them drag that manbaby for filth. The video accusing IVE that went viral on tiktok was created by some lily white becky from wyoming for an echo chamber of unhinged Koreaboos. The number of times this freak talked about being greeted by juniors creep me out. He basically made a list of 'good' juniors who greeted him the right way to the point even native Koreans are weirded out by his fixation You can't convince me this is a normal behavior and not just power tripping move to exert his authority over younger idols.
  14. Exactly. It seems he doesn't give a sh*t about his fans nor the event itself bc how the heck his pathetic ass still habors bitter feelings about a small interaction happening a month ago. And it's not even a general statement like what Hyoyeon said. We know the specific event, specific location, specific groups interacting with him and he thought his fans won't narrow it down to begin the witchhunting? This tweet sums up what I think about the whole hullabaloo. This manchild knows exactly what he was doing by weaponizing his rabid fandom. It is just purely a power play in an attempt to put the hoobaes in their place bc his inflated bruised ego can't stand being ignored for once. I hope the IVE girls will avoid him for the rest of their lives.

The arena thing was how the tour was initially organized because Adele couldn't deal with a huge crowd (her chronic stage fright and not performing for years) She gained confidence after the first leg and they immediately switched to stadium. At that point the damage was kinda done, her voice suffered from singing in too many consecutive shows in months.
  16. Delly replied to iamvladd's topic in Base
She did that while doing the bare minimum She could have had the biggest female tour of all time if she worked on it.
  17. That BP stan suddenly turns into a men's rights activist I- I'm sure as hell you would sing a different tune if the harassment was targeted at BP members. The fact that the fan only asked "how was Music Bank in Paris" and his first reaction was ranting about not being greeted (oh the f*cking horror). I didn't know about the previous "not bowing" allegation against IVE so I tried to find the video where this incident was supposed to happen. And color me surprise, this is all to it, another nothingburger moment lasted for a few seconds made into a full-blown controversy by obsessed psychopathic kpoppies IVE girls were busy greeting the fans while 2 skz members were bowing and running pass Yujin. Poor girl didn't react quickly enough worshipping the ground those men walked on and now her whole group is getting harassed and slandered you would think they committed a crime or something.
  18. Why should she? The setlist doesn't hinder the audience to turn up. I actually love it when artists perform their less well-known songs in concerts.
  19. How can you listen to the chorus of Queencard without getting secondhand embarrassment? Like seriously horrible lyrics and their enunciation is just I wish they just sang it in Korean so I don't have to understand anything. The last time I feel this level of cringe from a song that I had to turn it off is Dance Monkey.
  20. Delly replied to iamvladd's topic in Base
It's time we have to accept that she will NEVER smash with her "commercial bops". That's just not what the public expect from her and she's not the best pop artist at producing bops. We have seen the organic resurgence and longevity of 'classic Adele' songs like MYFML, WWWY, LITD and now SFTTR but it never happens to SML you gotta see the pattern.
  21. Delly replied to iamvladd's topic in Base
SML being #7 is peak trolling. This ranking is a bit better than the BB one but still a lot of questionable placements
  22. Soojin left and took the group's artistic integrity with her I fear.
  23. Queencard is catchy but Gidle is regressing musically massively. The lyrics are atrocious and this song's structure is exactly the same as Tomboy.
