New Years January all the way to February (it's catchy and the beginning was giving a bit DL1 but the production is giving very lowkey daft punk realness, this ones a maybe tho) 5. Saying you hate pop doesn't make you deep (this and the previous one are giving a bit of future nostalgia title track realness which I'm into.) 6. Last Year swore I'd stay away, now I'm so free (?) This one is my absolute favourite. I'm getting hints of hallucinate and the kinda dreamy soundscape I'd want her to explore more as long as the songs resonate. I hope she releases this one, that's all. 7. I'll stay next to you, don't go too far (I feel like she should release more carefree, flirty songs like this. I love the instrumentation and half talky vocals too. I loved radical optimism, but it was a totally different vibe that needed to be expressed, but based on these snippets feels like she's in a much better place. More secure.

I watched her Berlin show and during the ballads (TEOG/MTN) she shouted out Lady Starlight being in the audience and how she wouldn't be nowhere near the person she is without her and that she was the coolest person ever that made her feel seen and be cool too and just singing high praise towards LSL and got a little emotional reminiscing on their times performing allover just the two of them. It was so cute and wonderful seeing her acknowledge their relationship and how the love is still there. I'm also partial on the lyrics referencing new material rather than stories only they know, but new music is always welcome!
