Eminem vs. Beyoncé: whose legacy will be stronger in 30 years?
Not really, maybe they will be remembered for their stories? Like for exemple I can imagine people reading about Michael Jackson, his controversies, and how people passed out when they saw him. Popstars and influencers in general are possibly going to be interesting in a sociology way, but from a more frivolous bread and circus perspective I think, that could be also considered legacy but I feel like that's not what this thread meant. Their work I don't think it will actually be remembered at all -or be taken very seriously- their music is never going to be analyzed the same way classical music is. Possibly i've gone off topic because the thread is just in 30 years-time, but I feel like pop music is not going to make the cut in the long term.

Eminem vs. Beyoncé: whose legacy will be stronger in 30 years?
Honestly neither, I don't think pop/rap music is going to stand the test of time. Only classical music artists have done that, it feels kind of dumb/cringe to think that people or the GP will talk about Eminem, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift or whoever else in such a way. They just make songs for the radio, as much elegance or niche feeling they want to put into their albums/performance they are just that. We talk about who is a legend or who's not in ATRL but none are actually going to be in the years to come.

Would Joker 2 have been more acclaimed/successful without Gaga?
Actually I think she was, not in a bad way, but I feel like she fit awkwardly into the movie. Of course she did a good acting and singing job, but it was a role too similar to her Lady Gaga persona, and because it was also a musical, it felt forced and it turned straight people and the gp off. (I'm talking success wise, not quality wise.) Probably a more unknown actress would've felt a bit more natural.

I mean looking at your recopilation I do sound tiring, but to be fair you also have 45,5k posts on this site. Honestly I was just surprised at the interpretation on this issue throught all the thread, with the literal anti-fascist writings on the bullet, and even more surprised that even though i've repeated myself the same arguments a lot you still say that there's "nothing that can even substantiate that" Idk I just feel like I'm living in a whole different reality when I enter this thread which is why I keep saying the same thing. And also as I've said before, of course there's not a 0% chance of it being a groyper, and I understand the nuance of inside jokes and niche internet groups, but honestly it just feels like cope, which as I've also said before, I understand and empathize given the situation of the people living in the USA. Honestly all that you said I answered already in my quotes that you rightly posted so I don't see the point in your response But don't worry, I recognise i've repeated myself too much, it's true and I won't say anything anymore (believe or not I also had decided to let it go before your post). Wish you the best of lucks to all the people in this thread and sorry if i bothered

Yeah there's never a 0% chance of anything, but let's be honest, If it had been a left-wing influencer murdered with weird nazi niche messages on the bullet, would we doubt this much? I understand the nuance of the groyper movement, and niche internet jokes, and again it's not impossible, but honestly it's very unlikely. I also understand that people in this thread are worried for the repercussion it may have in their lifes and rights if it turns out to be the way it seems, and are kind of in negation. I'm not from the us so I may see things in a more objective way, or maybe I'm just wrong, we'll see. At the end the only thing we can do is to wait until all evidence comes out.

True, even though personally this looked like more of a left-wing given the anti-fascist messages (the trans motive seems more far-fetched, we will have to see how this new line unfolds). It's gonna be very interesting If it ends up being this way how Donald Trump is going to react to it. He started very strong and visceral only to dismiss it later when the news revealed he came from a maga family, is he going to re-start it now? What's been clear is that he didn't really care about Charlie at all. Being honest, and it may be counterintuitive, but I feel like the effects of his murder are going to be more long-term, the right now sees him as a martyr and I feel like he will influence a new wave of right-winger, he's gonna be mentioned a lot by them.

Well, being honest I think it took more faith to believe that this was a right-wing groyper attack than a left-wing pro-trans attack. But we're still gonna have to wait a few days to clear everything out

We actually still don't know his ideology or motive though

I'd take this with a grain of salt but this theory gives more meaning to the troll lgbt messages on the bullets

With all due respect to this lady, and of course I could turn out to be wrong, but she didn't really add anything to the conversation. We already knew everything she said, and I've been (sadly) too much hours on twitter to know that those things could've been said by a chronically online left or right person. We can believe he put bella ciao because it was on a barely known random groyper playlist on spotify, or because it's the most known anti-fascist song used on lots videogames and tv-shows (and not right-wing ones).

Exactly, his friend said that the references on the bullet were from a videogame. But I was answering to the claim that he was clearly right-wing.

What? He literally put catch it, fascist in one of the bullets

But he did the attack dressed with a t-shirt with an american flag knowing he could be recorded?

Why would a groyper write any of those things. I think it's too soon to talk.

Has a singer ever actually suffered from being overexposed? Because a pattern I can see in most cases is suffering from long breaks between albums. Releasing yearly can help you build a catalog to rely on (which can help your longevity) and reach a bigger audience. Especially nowadays where a random song of yours can get viral out of nowhere. Of course it also needs to be attached to some quality but I think she did the right move releasing this, just look at Dua milking Future Nostalgia for nothing.
