Circle doesn't track sold copies, but shipped copies of a record, meaning that 1.8 million figure doesn't refer to copies actually sold to costumers, but shipped to stores. 3. On Hanteo, the one that counts ACTUAL sales the album sold less than Midnights' first week in the US: 1,126,068 vs 1,140,000 4. Hanteo and Circle include copies sold through korean stores and retailers WW, including China. Therefore, those 1.1 million copies are sold and distributed WW, not exclusively within South Korea, since they include copies shipped from sites like ktownforu to all corners of the world. So basically, you tried to use the argument that Aespa "embarrassed" Taylor by selling 1.8 million copies in South Korea in a week, when the reality is that it shipped 1.8 million copies worldwide in 3 months, quite the difference don't you think?
