I think Jennie is going to have a solo mini early 2023 (or a single album) and maybe some collabs internationally. I think Rose will have some too. Probably the duo they recorded together will come around that time. Jennie is in the Idol so they will rightfully use that as promotion. I don’t believe something will happen for Jisoo or Lisa. Shut Down is not holding well on Melon it’s #6 currently after seven days behind New Jeans B-side which is 2 months old. Pink Venom stays strongly at #3 though.

To my surprise shut down is really a worldwide smash. Maybe it’s finally the crossover Korean hit everyone has been waiting for. It’s quite underperforming in Korea though.

I think the purpose of the group is not the music which is very low quality in general. They need maximalist production and different instrumental for each members to emphasize their individuality. But they are no artists, their songs have no meaning, not real lyrical content (even shallow) and are self referential. Without all of this I think the group falls apart and that’s why it has never worked well with Western producer before. They are not used to have people that bring nothing to the table, not even an identity. Thus I think they should stay with Teddy.

No, it’s getting a bit less views than How you like that but that’s fair. I am more concerned about Spotify, the track has just been dropping in streams since the release.

Pink Venom has been continuously losing streams since day 1… Hopefully it stops soon and they will rise. For sure VMA will have an impact but hopefully the song can stay relevant in the west without needing it.
