  1. been growing on me for the past couple of days. hoping for this to smash!
  2. i think that depends on whether Rihanna will return to music in the next 2 years. i can see her scoring another 3 to 4 hits. otherwise, Taylor will likely catch up in the next 2-3 years.
  3. rooting hard for Don't Blame Me and Getaway Car to be released as singles. it's a long shot, but i hope they can give reputation the second run it deserves. if the vault tracks are strong, their team will likely push them instead. can't wait for reputation TV to be released already. we need to stream these tracks HARRRD for reputation TV!

  5. i really enjoyed 1989TV as a whole, especially the OG album tracks. IKP, Clean and TL are so much better on TV! took me awhile to get used to the MM singles though, partially because i was so familiar with the OG versions. turning off the "normalise filter" toggle on Spotify made a world of difference, which redeemed Style TV for me. for the vault tracks, i'm clowning for IION or SDG to be pushed as the single, with the video release on 17 Nov (Brazil Day 1), and the acoustic performance on the final tour night of the year (Brazil Day 3), allowing for live streaming on BBMA. She will then announce the release date for Reputation TV (scheduled for Feb 2024), with pre-orders for Reputation TV ready for Black Friday.

  7. i'm THRILLED to see that CS will become her 10th number one. WHAT A RIDE! i haven't been so invested in chart movement since stanning for Rihanna before her semi-retirement from music. anw, i'm happy with CS spending 2 weeks on the top of the charts before 1989TV takes over. i would love to have Taylor earning her 11th number one with "S!ut!" to extend the legacy of 1989. also clowning for a surprise remix album for 1989TV to be released in the following weeks. would be cool to have Style (Remix) to be her 12th number one.
  8. Both are legend with each gifted in their own ways. Mariah is the better singer while Taylor is the better musician, at least critically. I observed that both share some parallels in their career, at least for their first decade: Fearless / MC Both cemented themselves as pop music's A listers TS - won multiple Grammys with Fearless and released 2 of her signature classics. MC - launched her career with 4 consecutive number 1 hits and won Best New Artist. Speak Now / Emotions Continued success from their previous album Red and 1989 / Music Box and Daydream Both achieved their first commercial peak and were at the top of their game 2012 - 2015: TS scored 4 number one hits and was inescapable during the 1989 era 1993 - 1996: MC scored 5 number one hits and also released her classic Christmas album Reputation / Butterfly Both reinvented their personas following personal hardships Lover / Rainbow The beginning of a decline, although one could argue that Taylor lost her radio darling status during Reputation. TS - won Woman of the Decade for 2010s MC - won Artist of the Decade for 1990s Folklore and Evermore / Glitter and Charmbracelet Pivotal moments in their respective career, although in different directions. Midnights / TEOM The glorious comeback to the forefront of pop music and their second career peak.
  9. hoping for CS to finally land on #1 this week, then SZA can take over next week before the 1989TV album bomb. time to release elvira for the endless summer remix to break the #2 curse
  10. not this embarrassing man-child behavior when 2 of his chart toppers are REALLY Rihanna's. he should worry about the quality of his music.
  11. Umbrella, WFL, Diamonds, OG, Work as the lead artist. With her collabs, LTWYL and TIWYCF might contend with OG and Work for 4th and 5th place.

  15. 10 #1s if CS reaches the summit, and a #1 from every album since Red, not counting the re-releases.
  16. Reputation TV would make a better fit. I can see Nicki fitting very well into the verses for RFI.
  17. that's my suspicion. the way swifties come after her when she used to identify herself as one. i can see them collaborating in the near future though, perhaps as a remix for IDSB or DBM. this will be lead single material for reputation TV
  18. the song really dragged on for the last 2 minutes. miss the good old drake x riri collabs. those were sooo good!
  19. rejovanation replied to M A R C's topic in Base
i wonder if the pent-up demand for her new music will eventually earn her several viral hits, since R9 may never come imagine BBHMM and KIB slaying the charts following their 10th year anniversaries, and staying in the top 10 for months.
  20. manifesting for the tour video to be dropped at the VMAs + live version release to promote for the eras tour movie. if this eventually becomes number 1, she will then become the third artist to have #1 songs from 7 consecutive studio albums, alongside Rihanna and Mariah, which she will likely break with TS11.

  22. SAVE: Back To December Speak Now Dear John The Story Of Us Enchanted Better Than Revenge Long Live OFF: Never Grow Up Innocent Superman Electric Touch When Emma Falls In Love Castles Crumbling
  23. To put things in perspective, not even Style or Wildest Dreams reached the top of the charts during her previous commercial peak I wonder if the team decided not to push CS because they figured that the GP could use a break from Taylormania before they are exposed to even more media coverage when 1989TV is released
  24. I’m hoping she will release a quality vault track as the lead single that can do 1989TV justice. I believe there’s a high chance she will top both the singles and albums chart simultaneously again upon its release.
  25. Beyonce has ST and Lemonade, which established her as an artist in the same way Folklore and Evermore did for Taylor. For Rihanna and Britney, while Anti and Blackout were great albums, their discography are heavily lifted by their hit singles. This is coming from a long-time Navy who is still thirsting for new music from Riri I would vote for Britney, but only because Rihanna has a stronger catalogue of monster hit singles.
