Vermillion

@Communion This is a great summation but important context is that over a dozen MAGA influencers have been immensely invested over weeks in this story for what was ultimately AI.

Kamala's attempts to pivot left will ring false for the millions that stayed home because she pivoted right to Liz Cheney. However, as a result of Newsom not running Shapiro won't need to focus on him and will head straight for her but overstep his skis on his vengeance tour for her correctly bringing up dual loyalty. It will backfire deeply with black women, giving her the nomination. That she'll have that constituency locked up means that Ossoff very likely won't run.

The tea is awfully good this evening. @LegaMyth Thoughts?

LAW SUITS Where are tha LAW SUITS

Even if Kelly says the store lied and that the bird wasn't just a store model to begin with before switching out the tag to save face, this is the worst example of not reading the room economically in ages and in that sense enough PR damage has been done to her too.

So Kelly thought the $15K price tag was for specifically that model in the shop when that's what the store paid for the store model that wasn't for sale. So again, she thought she had a gotcha moment when she dug in again but was still wrong. The store should've clarified things better and not implied that even if she wanted another model from that same artist that she couldn't afford it. Kelly shouldn't be advertising that she's spending her time browsing $15,000 wooden birds to begin with. This isn't remotely Ellen or P!nk territory of PR backlash but never discount the lingering impact of something that may seem trivial like Shirley Manson and the beach ball incident and Demi Lovato with the frozen yogurt debacle. It will help her that she crossed over to white soccer Mom levels of forgiveness out of this but the one thing that was on par with her voice was her every girl image which is now gone permanently.
