Haha oh. I agree in a sense but it didn't do much for Choka Choka sadly. And I think it would be a bit random to perform this song at SNL.. it's getting enough leverage as is. She should wait and book it for her lead English single in autumn!

She did say back in 2010 that MITT was her favorite track off of the record, but that it didn't get to be a single. When she said this it clearly sounded like she was overruled and didn't have much input on the choices for singles on the album. Clearly Gypsy was chosen by Amanda Ghost. This was also speculated a lot about back then I remember..

Reading the whole interview, I feel it actually wasn't as bad as just reading the excerpt. It's like they knew what clickbait they could make out of the excerpt alone, and just went with it… It seems like she was having one of those days where you don't give a **** about anyone's opinion, and just talk ****. Everyone has those days, and everyone has flawed, biased opinions.. but her team made a huge mistake for not knowing about this or hindering its release. What did they expect?

So when the song is successful, she is carried by the other artist? So when it's a song with Cardi B that isn't received well, she's not carried by her? Just trying to understand your knowledge. Bizarrap is a producer btw. He doesn't sing.

Yeah I agree and thought the same actually. It seems she's struggling a bit with English. You can definitely tell as you say, that her entire circle are native Spanish speakers. It's totally understandable but very obvious. I liked parts of it, and she is being more honest and frank than usual.

She definitely follows the fan conversation I think! I gagged at some of those moments as well.. overall though, I didn't really like the interview. She was great and looked great, but she repeats herself a lot and seems to have trouble expressing herself like she used to. I don't know.. maybe it's just hard to really open up to someone you don't speak to often. I would feel weird too. But I'm happy she did such a long interview for once!

I actually think she might do SNL. She’s been surprising us consistently since the break up. At least surprising me, and she’s been my fave since 2001. During this new era, her only “predictable”, boring stuff has been Monotonía, Copa Vacia and maybe Acróstico. The rest have been new territory for her. And it’s exciting seeing her get excited about stuff and uncharted waters for herself.
