I agree both Bey and Tove's songs are nice but nothing special... I prefer Spirit tbh

Oop there it is! Miss Lana just swooped in outta nowhere and ended Madonna's 20 consecutive week reign at the top of the chart! This is Lana's second number one following Love in 2017. 

Doin' Time is the 8th song to debut @ #1 since the chart began in 2016. 

 

WEEK 163 - 13 September 2019

 

 

 

Lana's reign didn't last for long! The good sis drops to #10 and Madonna takes back the number one position with Future which is the 4th chart topper from Madame X (Medellin - Crave - God Control - Future). A bunch of Madame X songs re-entered the chart this week too. 

In other news Normani and Sam Smith make their first appearance on the chart.

 

WEEK 164 - 20 September 2019

 

 

 

IDK bout y'all but I was not expecting this song to reach the top spot. However, it is truly a bop. Congrats to Conan for being the 4th male lead artist after Bruno Mars, Miguel and A Boogie wit da Hoodie to reach the top spot. The Charlie's Angels collab enters @ #4. I doubt it will go any higher...

Okay I can't edit the other post but here's some more stats

 

- It took Future 14 weeks to make it to the top, the second longest number of weeks after Taylor Swift's Delicate (22 weeks).

- This is Camila's first appearance on the chart. Havana peaked at #11 oop.

I don't really care for Doin Time, but still glad that Lana debuted. Sam falling out after only one week though

Cute return for Spirit. Crave is really one of the best songs of the year

Week 162: Oh wow, finally some big changes are happening  This is a very unpopular opinion but I wasn't really feeling NFR. The title track is stunning though  That and Doin' Time taking over the top 2, with The Man right behind them  I Think He Knows also coming thru

Week 163: ...Oh  Ayyy Normani and Sam debuting  Both songs are huge bops

Week 164: .....Oh  Hmm, this set of debuts is significantly weaker than the past 2 weeks even though I like 2.5 of them (Bey x2 + .5 for DCMA) Taylor and Lana are still hanging on with 1 song each

Looks like Madonna's reign is over

There are always big changes on my chart   I agree with you re: NFR. I'm glad I'm not the only one who really loves The Man
