They're announcing a single that comes out... in 2 months?

K-Pop releases have me wondering why the **** singles are announced so far in advance.

Apart from the logo change, not too much happened in the video. Basically there seems to be an emphasis on them being more independent and taking creative control, but not much details were really given as to what that entails. No mention of Simon or anything though that is to be expected.

so basically announcing the creative will be changing since Simon and their producer are in jail

i really do not understand the two month wait for this... for a single at that

i know their releases are usually pretty spread out but they've never done this for their first singles? grl gvng/something ain't right/gala i don't think were like this

excited for new music but.... eugh. i dont see the hype lasting that long

I have to keep relooking at the date to make sure I'm not crazy, Nov is a bit too farr.

Love XG but their latest album was kinda mid.... GALA was the best song. We need better music this time around since the visuals are always top tier.

I remember them having a similar wait for that one off single Million Places. But yes it is so annoying that this announcement is this far ahead.

I have the same problem with them. Not only the album, I also didn't feel their second mini that much. It had good songs but no standouts.
