I have been using Hinge and Tinder and the yellow app over the past two months. A big issue is people suck ass at communication, so even if they send you a like and you respond with something, there's usually no response. I do manage to go on a date every week-ish, but sadly most dates also lead nowhere. I think romantically unavailable people should just not be on the apps (I know they're into someone else because every time I delete and come back the same people are there always, so clearly they're not getting into any relationships at all).

I use Hinge. I like that it lets you see who most recently liked you for free; that makes it easy to avoid swiping on profiles too much. Regardless, communication on all these apps is horrible. I recommend just quickly going from "hi" to "would you like to grab a coffee?" It's impossible to know if you vibe with someone from texting on the apps. So moving away from them to meeting in-person is the best way to gauge a person.
