At this rate Alter Ego will be a visual album. I think about 2/3 of the songs already have a video, but then Chill, a fan fave, still hasn't got 1

This seems like an odd choice to push, it's a sweet ballad tho (they're all good tbh)

apart that her album isn't cohesive...and releasing this its just a gift for the fans i guess, at the end of the day u can't just mix a bunch of random singles and call it "alter ego" to hide the fact u can't create a cohesive sound or direction. is not well thought out.

i think the punchiness of her attitude is the thing that holds the different styles together, the supposedly different characters come back to a few similar things. but that just makes me wonder why this one, cos it's the one that literally has nothing in common with anything else. i wonder if it's a bit of a pivot to eastern markets, it's that kind of song

What makes you think she CANT? Ưith all that money in thr world she can hire a team to handle that **** just like Beyonce or Taylor or Gaga. There is a total possibility that she wanted her album to be that way, to be all over the place with everything and every genre. What if that's what she likes? Why do we have to view it through a negative lense.  I can enjoy a cohesive body of work with artists like Kate Bush, Lana, Bey, St Vincent, but I also can enjoy the fun and chaos of pure entertainers like Lisa.

yeah, i've been reading up on it and she's very clear that she knows what it's like and it was meant to be that way, i feel like it hangs together pretty well tbh.

 

it's probably one of the two albums i've listened to most that came out this year, i'm not prepared to argue with that many bops (the rosé album is "coherent" and it feels a bit samey tbh)

cool you can enjoy her project and call it fun, ok that's you, i don't. her album+ B-Side random projects/collab scream, i want anything to stick and pray for a hit which to me she is losing herself on that path and if is not what she trying to do its was its giving to me.  i like some songs as individual songs not as a whole.
i can have an opinion about her work of art ...doesn't mean i am right or wrong its just my personal opinion. u call her album fun and chaos, i call her album non-cohesive and kinda desperate. like Rosé album, to me is cohesive but boring apart from APT..just opinions.

yeah why this one, i wish she could have stayed with one sound and actually sement her as an artist first, then come back with something different and surprise us, she can do whatever she want, but it was a risk this whole idea (album) and i don't think its paying off honestly.

Yep I dont get the "worst female" album talk when it comes to Alter Ego just because it's not "cohesive" or "coherent". Sometimes it's just pure fun and it is what it is. Sometimes we just need to enjoy the fun and not take things to seriously. Sometimes albums with concepts and cohesiveness can be a bit heavy to listen to. We just need different things at different times.
