I don't think so, it's more folksy, there are violins in a few songs too. It's kind of mellow, Husk has more guitars I think. 

 

It's expected the next albums is different, so maybe there.

Aw, I like some folk tunes so I might listen to this. Thanks for the info!

I loooove this band and their sound, keep coming back to their music when I want to feel cozy and/or nostalgic. Let me stream the new record

A very pleasant listen, nothing revolutionary but I found it very soothing. I'm not that familiar with their discography but to me this sounds a bit more acoustic / folk-pop leaning at parts than most of their songs I know.

The second album coming in a few months is rumored to be more boppy, funky etc

This is alright. There are a gems but I know how often I'll revisit this compared to their previous work.
