i love the snark in the lyrics, she's had funny-as-in-goofy songs like exes before but there's something very funny in a really b*tchy way about the whole "make all my inner thoughts sound like ah-ah" thing that's very smart and well put together

 

i like that she's calling people out for basically calling her a bimbo and an airhead too cos there's a lot more to her songs than a lot of people give her credit for

 

love the dreamy production, i kinda want to hear a whole or mainly emile haynie produced tate album after this

ngl it wasnt my favourite on initial listen but i let it marinate with me and realised it's one of her best songs. it reminds me of diet pepsi/lana but with tate's signature twist to that sound

yeah, i know in my mind that it sounds like diet pepsi and can hear that whole vibe but i never notice it when it's actually on, it still manages to be its own thing
