i haven't paid attention to the atrl grammys but i agree we need to push for a papa win  what are the rock categories we can go for?

 

also i just read your track by track review (idk how i missed it??) and i agree with everything so much. i'm so happy it held up for you as much as it did for me, it's fantastic and i'm enjoying this era soooo much. i'm manifesting a tour down under for you because you NEED to experience this tour. i have already saved up a ton of money and will be following them around europe when they come back next time ahhhh

perpetua reveal remains THAT moment and still has me in a chokehold to this day

There's usually Best Rock Song, Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Album.
 

I think if we agreed to put up a unified front for Skeleta and a song in each category there would be enough of us to get Papa nominated - as Rock tends to be one of the least voted categories. I made a campaign for "The Future Is A Foreign Land" last year and while it didn't make the cut, my promo got Rite Here Rite Now nominated in Rock Album  

 

I also think he has a shout as I don't think there have been too many well received Rock releases this year (aside from maybe Sombr but his album would be considered alternative I suspect) and I don't see a big Pop artist like Beyonce having a song in the running this time around.

 

I guess it's really between Satanized and Lachryma as they're the two most notable tracks off the album. I'm a Lachryma supremacist but I'll vote with whatever we felt was best.

Lachryma also makes sense as I think we could also vote for it in Video to try and get it more attention.

 

Okay, when the nomination lists come out in a few months I'll rally the thread and tag everyone who has posted in here.

 

I think if enough of us put Lachryma in we have a chance. Tbh we could try push for multiple nominations but I feel with a smaller-sized base that would just work against us in the end.

 

Excited to try and secure some wins though!  

The ATRL Grammy ballots are out! 
 

Have until the 15th to submit for Lachryma. You don't have to complete all of the categories but you can nominate Lachryma for the following:

 

- Record of the Year

- Song of the Year

- Best Rock Performance

- Best Rock Song

- Best Music Video

 

Then Skeletá can be nominated for:

 

- Album of the Year

- Best Rock Album

 

If we can get it onto the longlists for as many categories as possible then it will be on other voters minds when it comes time to vote for the finalists!
