What are we doing? We as fans should not be trying to ruin people's lives for our faves. I just read a new story about the Swifties trying to get someone's mother deported.

Can we agree this type of behavior is unacceptable? I just hope that no one part of this threat is in the forum because this behavior is deplorable. Let's make a promise to not doxx, stalk, harass and try to get a person's mother deported. There is nothing wrong with defending a fave, but actively trying harm someone should be a no, and we need to keep other members in check.

 

I think we need to personally reimagine what it means to be fan because just because you are fan does not mean you are their solider.

Thats not a stan that's a mentally ill person pretending to be a stan. A stan just obsesses over the career of someone, not threatening random people who dislike your fav.

Stan culture since 2022 ish to now has completely derailed. It's just the most vile people with 0 morals, empathy, and their brains have not checked in. They just want a way to go anonymous and attack celebs and their families & doxx/potentially harm regular people as well online without consequences.

 

Stanning before covid was like a cute fun hobby and we knew the most toxic people and you could just block or ignore them. Now there's like 100 of those people in every fanbase & they have a ton of followers on twitter at least
